. This is very nice feature. is this available in other countries or only US
agree that the standalone version has never worked for me. And I can't seem to find where I can actually where to do this online with my account. Above video says "once you logon to account online.." well with all the fragmentation of web properties with Citi, tell me exactly which one that is. I can't seem to find it anywhere, and your search just keeps landing on my account page.

I am happy to try to answer this question for you. To locate Virtual Account Numbers on the Web, use the following steps (direct link is also below):
1. Log in to Citi Online.
2. Go to "Account Management"
3. Under Account Management Services, click "Get a Virtual Account Number".
4. At this point, you may be prompted for security questions or verification via text message. If not, skip to step 5.
5. Under "Web-Based Version", click Launch.
A new window should launch as long as you have Adobe Flash Player installed and Enabled.

Hi, I'm having trouble getting to activate a Virtual Account Number. Are Citi Priority Debit cards eligible for this feature?
Currently all new generated virtual account numbers will expire in August., 2021. Is Citi bank doing away with this service in August?

When I going to register for VCC there is some issue
Generally in India SSN not provided by government so alternate option is use zip no but there only I can put 5 digit but in India zip code are six digit

How do I get the desktop software?
Hello, thank you for your comment. Regrettably, the desktop launcher has been removed as a feature for the Virtual Account Numbers. All VANs must be generated from a browser after logging into you account online. We apologize for the inconvenience. ^Johnny

Citibank's VAN pop-up is no longer Flash, so that is no longer a problem. As-of today: If your logon page is https: //online .citi .com/homepage , it won't do VAN, saying "We're sorry, your account is not eligible for this feature. We apologize for the inconvenience. For further assistance, please call 1-855-472-3251 and refer to Error Code [1074]." BUT, if you clear cookies and hit refresh, it goes back to the old logon page, https: //online .citi .com/US/login.do , and after you log on, you CAN use Virtual Account Numbers. (For the next logon on the same browser, you have to delete cookies again.)
Awful Citi. They've removed this (virtual account numbers) feature. They also don't have secure messaging anymore. Their chat customer service is useless since all they're going to say is that you should call them. It's 2020 and the only customer service option they offer is via phone calls. Primitive company!

@@erikachinghe4273 You can use it for online sales and over the phone orders. What's nice about them is you set the dollar limit and duration of how long the number is good for.

No Mac application and the web version uses Flash, which is not secure and being end-of-life'd globally this year. You need to update to at least browser extensions like other vendors. Also, these are really single-use numbers because they expire within 1-2 months of being issued, whereas other vendors allow these to be used for recurring charges. Finding the site to access them is also not intuitive as other vendors who put it directly on the main dashboard when you log in.
They finally dumped Flash. Now the VAN pop-up window is a browser window. (It works for me in Firefox, with Flash uninstalled.)
