Some resonate with this music because either they have lived; witnessed or suffered from a broken relation with their father. This song reminds us, we need not perpetuate that pain into our kids. We can and always be better humans. 🤍
@@liyaha.4611 Not exactly. It is an unreleased, military-style version of "Duck Shoot". Lorne Balfe has released four tracks that were not in the original score. Hopefully he will release the Suez one some day!
@@kulu3850 I found "We Shall Go to War" on Spotify. It does sound like a military-style "Duck Shoot", so it may be the one you are looking for. It's track 11 on the "The Crown Season Two (Soundtrack from the Netflix Original Series)" album.

I’ve just watched episode 9 for the third time and everytime, this music plays at the ending. Are you sure that you haven’t put the volume on mute or skipped the end credits or perhaps you’re deaf?
I believe the lyrics are from a liturgical chant found in the Codex Calixtinus and the untitled piece is named after its first line 'Dum pater familias'
@@jailonbailey2149 The blurb at the top of this page says it is "Phillips dream" but if you search that title in YOutube you will see that Phillip´s Dream is an orchestral piece! This piece is not included in the soundtracks lists I have searched. Are we sure it comes at the end of Season 2. Maybe I will have to watch again and then read the credits at the end. Very beautiful and haunting piece.
He later described it as "a prison sentence" and "absolute hell."
When it came to his time as a father, Charles sent his sons to Eton College.

It hurts cause I think I would do the same to my children. Send them to "Gordonstoun". Don't be afraid, is just air.
This is the strongest episode in the whole series! I loved it!
I think Aberfan comes first
The score of The Crown was one of many things that made this 'not just another period drama'
Couldn't agree more
The score was absolutely everything! I love listening to it ☺️
Especially cleaning the image of the royal family & governments from a lot of crimes in all the countries they destroyed and stole their resources
This piece was very well put together. Every single note is done perfectly.
This beautiful piece of music gives me an emotion that I just can't put into words.
Cela donne de la force et du courage.
Ont ressent le pouvoir et la loyauté Envert ce qui compte pour nous.
Ont ressent la grâce.
I noted that Paterfamilias is described as "The male head of a family or household". Quite a fitting name to this episode
The matriarch has pased away.. Queen Elizabeth 2022
pure royal music.
The only word I understand is Christus...beautiful sound.
The remarkable Claire Foy
RIP HRH PRINCE PHILIP
Absolutely beautiful!
Wondeerful. Now, if only one could get the music played during the Nasser speech/takeover of the Suez Canal Company.
It's called "Duck Shoot"

This song’s playing in my head right now while watching Charles’ coronation
And now, the Queen is dead..
Sounds like a suitable soundtrack.
🙏
finally a question the internet oracle cant handle, wow!
Este capitulo para mì fue muy dificil de ver :(
No todo sucedio tal cual. La escena en donde el padre del Duque de Edibumburgo le grita es totalmente ficticia.

Can someone share the lyrics of this sonh
I went back and checked on Netflix. This music DOES NOT come at the end of the episode Paeterfamilias or at the end of Season 2.
Then you are watching the wrong crown somewhere 🤣
