I agree with you about the Mario. As a Mario main, I love to Up-Smash. Sometimes I’ll try too hard trying to space my aerial attacks. Another bad habit I’ll do is that I’ll try to go for dash grabs, just for a simple Down Throw combo.

as a learning Cloud main with potential, I really love landing complete climhazzard. I've even gotten lucky enough to survive and recover from spiking someone with it,
That's that I've been saying about Cloud versus heavies! But I'm wondering if I'm just not able to do proper setups into limit - RAR nair into cross slash or falling up air to finishing touch. The latter isn't as broken as Smash 4 but somewhat easier on tall heavies.
I love those set ups super stylish. Thing is they aren’t very safe on shield, and if the heavy knows how to play the match up, they’ll literally just hold shield all day against cloud because what can he do? LOL
@@phy_ That's so true. Good point about those not being safe on shield, and Cloud really becomes a glass cannon in those MUs. At the moment I can't think of anything that gives him the edge. Not sure why MU charts would rate the heavies at mostly Cloud advantage or even. Anyways.
@@KrazyKaiju714 His disjoint is really the only thing that gives him an edge but even then Bowser & DK have a lot of things that can compete with or even just beat out his range so he definitely loses to them IMO! I can see him beating the other heavies though because of his speed (Ganon & Incin) and pretty good ability to get through projectiles (DDD & Krool)
@@phy_ Definitely agree with most. Not sure about DDD because of that hammer, especially fair and uair. I guess it's mostly in Cloud's favor when he's underneath. I also mostly play online so don't know the offline matchup. But I think WiFi buffs tend to favor DDD in most aerial trades otherwise, where the two characters probably spend most of their time.
Matthew Mitsui yeah DDD can definitely be tricky and dangerous to fight against on WiFi

what's the input for 3:40? i dont know the tech to dair spike off ledge
Would love to know too, gonna try practice mode. If I had to guess, I'd say DI off ledge then jump up + Dair at the same time?
@@b0neless437 yea exactly like, the timing is kinda hard though. i had to remap jump to left bumper then dair using c stick
Also u lose ur double jump so u have to up b if u miss the dair which is kinda hard
