Commercially failure in tamil against the expectation because of Ranjith's cast partiality. But there is a chance to hit in hindi sice they dont knew about this director. Also bad vfx and poor narration.

I think u didn't check the collections, if u watch the Mumbai promotions clearly proved, one of journalist herself said more than 100 cr + collections(without release in North India and very limited overseas release). It's a huge hit , more than 100 cr + still running ,is that commercial failure ? Come on waje up and accept the truth. I also don't like Ranjith in his political stand,but in the movie I like his making. Pls show me this kind of one movie huge hit and critically acclaimed ,very complex subject.
