I think it's because of 2 main reasons: 1) Despite not knowing the reasons behind the separation, aka Jacob not being involved with the company anymore, she's the first and only one who provided Op with evidences of the affair and how the cheaters were conducting themselves inside the office. 2) Her involvement was not at the same level as those who actively helped in covering the affair (like keeping Op occupied so that the cheaters can do whatever they want). We don't have any details about it, but remember that Op had individual interviews with every employees concerning this matter.
