eS for life. Some of the best skating shoes out if you like the look of them. Been rocking eS shoes for about 3 years now. I try other shoes in between, but I just keep coming back to eS.
I love these shoes! I feel like I can do my best all around skating in the evants. Just enough puff to protect your feet and to grab the griptape, but not so bulky that you loose control or boardfeel. Great grip on the sole. Look freaking sick when you are setting up for a trick. Make you feel great and gives you that style and confidence. Also the extended squared off heel is amazing for heelflips! All you heelflipers out there should try this shoe! I’ve got a wider foot and ling toes and this shoe fits perfect for me. I replaced the insole with something a little thicker (insole was a little too thin for me). Also if the hidden lace loops are amazing, but I wish they had a hidden loop for the very top hole too.... I definitely rip my laces there on every shoe that exists... Gonna keep getting these evants, one of my favorite shoes I’ve ever skated. So dope!
My fave shoe ever is the eS K3. I have been tempted to try the Evant. Your vid tipped me over the edge... I got a white pair today. Not totally on par with the K3 but still really nice. I will be getting a few more colours. The new all black and your tan ones are sweet.
I'd like to have tried the K3, I'm sure there was a re-issue of them not too long ago. I love the evants so far, currently skating the white and the tan versions but eyeing up the new vegan blue ones for my next shoe!

The last year or so, I've found myself revisiting shoe brands I used to skate in the 90s and haven't looked back since. The Globe Encore 2 is a particular favourite.
Sole Tech Dist has been my favorite skate shoe maker since I first started skating. Had some éS Square Ones, Reynolds 3, and then the Hsu when they dropped. The Marana is the only etnies shoe I’ve given much of a chance, but it’s one of the best out there. Chunky, but not overwhelming.

I started skating in chunky shoes back in the late 80s early 90s and apart from the gazelles and Clyde's faze of the early 90s, I still skate chunky shoes. Es are the best. I've been skating silos for awhile, but will check the evant out. Nice Blackpool footage ! I'm from the Burnely area !!!!
these shoes are the best , I have the red version and the red suede paisly version , the cushioning and mix of board feel is perfect for me , I dont like vulc boardfeel , impacts are harder even on flat
Been skating eS for over 20 years. So happy to see the old styles from back in 2000 returning like the Omega, Evant (Kosten 3), Silo and Symbol. Best shoes

I have both. To me the Evant is the better shoe. Don't get me wrong the Silo is also a nice shoe, but it feels looser and slightly less padded and stable on my feet. Could just be the shape of my feet of course, but for me, I feel like the Evant is just a little better in almost every aspect than the Silo. I bought them both to skate. After a couple sessions, the Silo became my "wearing around" shoe and I'm still skating the Evant. The K3 was my favourite shoe of all time, so I was really excited to see the Evant come out. It doesn't feel spot on to the old K3, but I'm happy to get as close as I can these days.
imma buy these, I got one question. Is the white and red one's leather? If not what material do you think it is. Also what material is the tan colorway, is it different. I like the tan but I'm scared it's gonna rip faster than the other colorways. Thanks!
White is leather (i'm pretty sure!) - tan is a suede, the tan versions which are my favourite are definitely ripping slightly faster than the white ones

Can you compare Evants with Silos, your own experience? Only downside of the Silos in my POV is a durability of a toe. Rest is perfect- grip and durability of a sole, comfort, breathability.
I also have the silver silos! I think the silos are super comfortable but yeah, the material on the toe isn't great and I can imagine will rip fairly fast. The evants feel like a much flatter shoes, a little wider and possibly even slightly chunkier but I personally think the evants feel amazing for skating and would put them above the silos everytime.
@@LewisFarley I ve seen that you have also black Symbol shoes. What about them? Outsole the same as Silo but different toe. In shop seemed to me a bit stiffer, but propably will last longer (toe)
@@radimnovy4264 I've got two pairs of the symbols. As much as I like them, they're huge. Not the best for skating in all honesty, not bad but much prefer the evants.

How would you compare the Evant vs the Silo ?
I have both. To me the Evant is the better shoe. Don't get me wrong the Silo is also a nice shoe, but it feels looser and slightly less padded and stable on my feet.
