I know I’m catching your hike very late but it has built my interest in the Ozark trail, but a cold weather tip for you, take one off your dry bags, turn it inside out , stuff your shoes and socks in it, put them in the quilt with you
Awesome. Thanks for documenting this. My buddy and myself are doing the Cortois section 2nd week of April. We are giving ourselves way too much time to complete it as we are both in our 60s. I enjoyed all your videos. Thanks again.
Congratulations on your Triple O! It was your first attempted thru hike that inspired me on my first thru-hike of the Ozark Trail in the spring of 2022.
Great vid again! Here in Australia when they do a prescribed burn, the track many stay closed for weeks afterwards, waiting for rangers to check it's safe from potential falling trees etc. Problem is that due to low budget and staff numbers, it may take a lot longer than it should.
Hammocks are great for old guys who don’t want to have to get up from the ground. They make a good chair too so you don’t have to carry one. Thanks for watching!
Congratulations on completing another trail! You really rack up the miles quickly. You take on the challenges and do quite well with them. It’s good to show your emotions! Thanks again for sharing your journey, I look forward to your next one. And the walking man walks 😊👍
I really admire the extra effort you put in to get your final creek crossing on video both coming and going. That is some top level badassery..good on ya!
At the last creek crossing, I recognized those noise's you were making. But adventure isn't fun while it's happening. It sure looks like a nice trail. Great video.
This was a awesome 3 episode adventure. Thank you for sharing and thank you for bring us long with adventure. I am planning the Foothills trail in SC, later this week . Going to do half of it. As far as the weather it look like rain! Got love it.
Congratulations on your thru hike and completing the Triple O! Was feeling your pain on that last creek crossing. Enjoyed the series. Any clue’s what trail you will be doing next year during late winter?
@@MidwestBackpacker ok. Thanks. My wife and I love watching all of your videos and Doritos and beef sticks hasbecome our families favorite trail snack/ lunch!

You're a beast!!! Congratulations on completing the triple 0. Thanks for sharing.
Pretty sure the cave grate is to protect the bats from evasive fungus being brung in on clothing.

Nice! Thank you!
Awesome finish Jeremy. This was a great series and the timing with the incoming weather was perfect. Your 2 shot of the water crossing was the best!
Great vid again!

3:50 Seeing you take off your shoes and socks in your hammock ...I just don't understand hammock camping.
Congrats on your triple O.

Thank you!! I haven’t decided yet.
Congratulations on the completion of your hike! Great video series as well. So how many times did you have to cross the last river to get those shots?
5 😂
When you say you hiked “25 miles”, do you mean a measurement as a direct line from start to finish? Or all the winding trail?
Trail miles
What type of shoes are you wearing that you can hike with, and do water crossings? I assume they dry out during the day?
Trail runners that drain well combined with darn tough wool socks. My shoes are brooks cascadias.
What time of the year were you out? The second half looks much better marked than the first 60?
It was mid-late March. I can’t remember trail markings.
Jeremy, which trail do you prefer out of 3 from the South East triple O?
Probably Ouachita because of the shelters.
