I have just caught up on your last 2 videos. Enjoyed them as usual, and I love a wip parade. I'm glad you got all your stitching sorted after it got wet. What a nightmare. I stitch only with cxc also, and I have put finished pieces in the washing machine. On a delicate cycle, and they have all been absolutely fine - thankfully 😅. Thanks for the videos.
Never get bored watching your videos. Can’t imagine what it was like to find your projects wet I am not sure I would have thought to wash them. So happy they turned out ok. Love the yellow flower one can’t wait to see it get further along .
Thank you 😀 it was a proper oh beeeeeep moment, I'm not gonna lie. The washing was either going to work or it wasn't so I had nothing to loose other than 100 years of stitching lol. But so glad they all came out OK. ❤️
We all take PK for granted don't we. I've had so much trouble recently with charts from Etsy. As far threads are concerned, I used to MC then I tried CXC which I liked, now I'm using Royal embroidery which I love, it feels great and covers well. I can get them from a lovely English lady front Etsy who dispatches quickly. Don't forget NOT to leave any of your washed fabrics damp. Have a good month Holly. Stay safe🤗🇬🇧
I am using plastic storage totes 32 gallon to store my projects in they stack they aren't expensive and hold a lot. I've also used those great big lawn and leaf garden trash bags to line cardboard boxes to keep stuff in in my basemen that works well. I slip on over the scroll roads from the bottom up then bottom down over like a pillow case works well. You can use different types and more that one too. Keeps things dry and tidy. Good luck in finding a solution. Your hardware shop should have some sort of sealent you could seal up those leaks with. Good progress glad your personal life is partly settling down. Now if you can get through the rainy season. Best to you.
Hi Kris, thank you. I went to Wlamart and got a load of boxes. I am storing them in my office (it's just a shell right now, and the other side of my property) x
I just got the Twisted Band Sampler because of you and I got the cross stitch only chart. I also got the Twisted Rainbow Sampler from Northern Expression's Etsy shop.
I just found you and am so glad I did. You are a beautiful stitcher. I loved your wip parade and will be checking out more of your videos. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day 💗
Thanks for doing a WIP parade. I enjoyed it a lot. I completed Stormy and wait till you get to the leaves. They are mostly confetti. The owl body is nothing compared to the leaves. You can do it!
Absolutely! Infact I need a good sort out and am going to store everything I don't use, so that should give me more space. However I need to store it in air tight waterproof boxes, so yup loads of plastic boxes in my future 🤣🤣🤣 xx
Thank you for sharing your beautiful wips. Lovely ❤ now my list is bigger Definitely some future starts for me. At 40 we are young😊. Good to hear from you and your journey in USA . All the best from Madeira 😊
Hi hun. Love yr videos hun. Gorgeous projects. I love seeing full coverage projects. Yr bee hive is beautiful. I've bought that one 😁U enable me. Lovely to catch up with you. Take care. Xx
Hi Holly! Wonderful to see all your wips, grace face is soooo close I'm excited to see it finished. Have a good month stitching looking forward to your next vid xo
You'll want the petite treasure braid PB13 or PB60 for the pink and PB73 for the gold. I have this pattern too, kitted it and swapped the kreiniks as I'm not a fan either.
Love a good Wip parade. What scroll bars are you using? I can rarely find ones large enough for my HAEDs that don't weigh a ton. Yours look nice and light. I'm also doing Gobbler Farm and All Hallows Eve so I enjoy seeing your progress.
@hollythecrossstitchaddict83 thank you! They looked lighter/smaller than an omanik frame which was why I asked. I have Omaniks and they are muck heavier. I was referring to the scroll frames you were using for the larger haed projects that have the wing nuts. Thanks!
@hollythecrossstitchaddict83 awesome! Thank you! I appreciate the info. It looks like I'm getting some new frames! Would love to see your storage and stitching set up solutions for your rv in the future if you are willing. I've always wanted to travel and live in an RV once I retire eventually, and storage for my cross stitch stash is definitely a concern. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress on your HAEDs. Thanks again.
Hey! Very nice projects you have there, I just saved some to my endless „to stitch“ pile 😅. May I ask where I can find this lovely silvermoon fabric? I just discovered my love for 32ct too and trying to find a nice greyish fabric for samplers.
Hello , enjoyed this Video this is my first one with you. Beautiful work. Questions: CXC thread on a HAED compare to DMC ?. The likes and dislikes. And where did you get the Jesus chart?. Take care
I find that CXC doesn't knot up as much as DMC. Also, it's slightly thicker, so for me doing 1 over 1 on 20 count looks better because of the coverage it gives. I got the Jesus chart from Joyful Expressions. Go on their website and sign up to their news letter. The pattern is free ❤️
Hi holly can you please say what colour you are using as the white on the Union Jack flag please as hopefully you don’t mind but I would like to use the same colours as what you are using on yours ❤❤
Hi Grace, sure it's 02 I believe. On the video before or after this one, I mention the colours. I'm out and about at mo, so can't check it, but I'm sure it's 02 x
I have far more stamped than I want to admit. They are all going to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Slowly purging all of them. I’m holding on to my counted cross stitch and carry on😊🌺🌸🌺 I’m sorry about the leak, I hope all is fine now
Its ok I can ask you on here hun the question was hun am in the uk followed you from them days and I know you shop at the wool warehouse for your fabric can you please tell me what your opals fabric is called cause I would like it In 18ct or can you send me the link hun thank you x

Thank you so much for the info. I ironed it all dry, so it's great now 😀

Thanks for doing a WIP parade. I enjoyed it a lot.
I completed Stormy and wait till you get to the leaves. They are mostly confetti. The owl body is nothing compared to the leaves. You can do it!
Ha ha thanks for that! Really made my day!! I bet it looks amazing! Can you dm me send me a pic on Instagram? I would love to see it completed xx
Good to have you back. So sorry about your stitching! I see plastic storage boxes in your future especially living in the south with bugs, water, etc.
Absolutely! Infact I need a good sort out and am going to store everything I don't use, so that should give me more space. However I need to store it in air tight waterproof boxes, so yup loads of plastic boxes in my future 🤣🤣🤣 xx
Great WIP parade Holly.
Omg, I haven’t heard someone use the word wank in that context in years! I used to always say it 🤣

Hey, I am so sorry, I've only just seen this comment. You must have thought I was really rude not answering you. It's a great word! Xx

You'll want the petite treasure braid PB13 or PB60 for the pink and PB73 for the gold. I have this pattern too, kitted it and swapped the kreiniks as I'm not a fan either.
Amazing!! Thank you so so much. Really appreciate you letting me know 😀

Hi hun, I am using an Omanik frame. They come from Europe. The scroll bars come in different sizes which is fab 😀
@hollythecrossstitchaddict83 thank you! They looked lighter/smaller than an omanik frame which was why I asked. I have Omaniks and they are muck heavier. I was referring to the scroll frames you were using for the larger haed projects that have the wing nuts. Thanks!
@jodempsey3761 oh...May have been the Elbessee frame then. My apologies. You can get them on Amazon 😀

Hi lovely, yes I buy it from 123 stitch. If you pm me, I will link it for you so you get the right one xx

@@hollythecrossstitchaddict83 so if I work on 28ct. For full coverage would it be to much. Going to start another HAED. And is it fuzz up?.
You want the Petite Treasure Braid!😊
Yes!!! I knew there was a word missing. That's what I meant 'Petite' Treasure Braid. Thank you so much 😀
What kind of frame is your peony project on?
Hi Denise, it's on an Omanik frame. They are great, but very large 😀
Hi holly can you please say what colour you are using as the white on the Union Jack flag please as hopefully you don’t mind but I would like to use the same colours as what you are using on yours ❤❤

Love your projects! Where did you get the stamped kit?
Hi lovely, I got it from Ali Express 😀 xx
I’m with you on printed cross stitch, not a fan at all.
Yeah. I think I'll finish it though but like you say, not a fan xx
I have far more stamped than I want to admit. They are all going to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Slowly purging all of them. I’m holding on to my counted cross stitch and carry on😊🌺🌸🌺 I’m sorry about the leak, I hope all is fine now
