Its really great to know that you're still updating the contents of nearly 3 year old videos. Thanks for taking time and teaching us. Jai Hind!
this color palette is from 6500K whitebalance right?
you do know that skintones changes depending on what whitebalance you have.
low whitebalance and you get an more redish skintone.
fixing that will ruin the mood in the picture.
Thanks to giving knowledge

This man's voice is incredible. I've seen a few of his videos but i love how he's able to deliver information so sufficiently. I can't believe i haven't done this before, but subscribed!!:)
I always struggle with correcting skin tones, this saves me! Thanks so much for your amazing tutorials :)
Great tutorial that gets straight to the point without dragging it out ten times longer than it needs to be. Thanks!
We need the story of how you became such a pro in PS!
¡Upvote so he can see it!
yes.
Yes please!
I was asking myself that question many times!
Yes his great!
Funny that you think i want some kind of fast method to learn. I don't and i already manage to use photoshop properly (not that properly, tho). What i'm interested in is in Unmesh's story. That path he took, how he decided to become who he is now, what he went through while learning. i'm 200% sure that that will encourage SOOO many people to learn from their own and be as amazing as him, but in their own way :)
Hey Unmesh. Your knowledge and teachings have really helped me out on Photoshop. I was a total newbie on Feb 2020 and now I can say that I know my way around thanks to you.
Keep up the good work man. Your contents are gems.

Unmesh you are a lifesaver! Thanks for all your videos!🙂
A couple of weeks ago I was stuck with a blurry photo from a client. I used your tutorial on how to fix blur and rectified it. The souvenir prints I made from that photo were of unbelievably high quality.
Thanks once again.
You are a photoshop wizard! I’ve learned so much from you my friend! You always get to the point, while making sure to explain how it all works and why. Instead of just running through a to do list. I also learn why it works! Thanks!
This is so perfect! I* have decided to scan all my negatives of 40 years work so that I have digital files. This allows me to recreate the past.

Dam... I was using the wrong eye dropper. Thank you for sharing the tutorial. It makes since now.
can you please make a video for gamut fixing?
Love these short unique techniques. Just brilliant mate
OMG Thank you so much!!!!! Your two videos about skin tones (this one ad the one you reference in this video) have been so wonderful!
which is which one?
He said “one button” I said “naaah”. He clicked one button, I was like “🥺”
you're lucky, I saw much more than a click ... may be it wasn't buttons ?
Same problem!
I'm waiting for him to answer
That is 6 six 😀
It seems to me that for this particular image, fixing the setting that made the skin tones wrong in the first place would be a better approach. I expect that you took a good picture and messed it up to use as an example, by using the tint control on the color/tint adjustment or the WB adjustment when importing.
I'd like to see this trick applied when the skin tones _really_ are strange, and can't be fixed by normal adjustments. Say, with a strongly colored reflection or colored lights. That is, something taken with available light, not with well-controlled lighting.
When you have good lighting, there should be no reason why the skin tones are off. Just always shoot a grey cloth (better than a grey card) and you'll have no trouble setting the WB to match the lights, using the WB eyedropper.
Skin tones may still be off a little bit even when you use a gray card or cloth to set white balance. I've set white balance and still felt the skin tones needed a little adjustment. "Proper" gray card white balance I feel is a touch too cold when it comes to skin tones.
By far the coolest and easiest bit of insight Ive ever seen on youtube tutorilas. AMAZING GEM!!
I followed a couple of videos of yours so far and I must bet and tell you that you won't miss to tell even a single step of the editing process. For a beginner like me, I find your video very helpful and many thanks for that. Keep uploading such wonderful and helpful content. Thanks again :) Cheers!
What about a color palette for darker skin tones
Great vidéo as always, however if understand rightly, this is applying a colour cast correction to the whole image so it would be necessary to mask the whites of eyes and teeth etc, is this correct?
Following
Ian Faulkner No, because the green cast was also affecting the whites etc, so removing the cast was helpful in those areas too.
This is awesome!!! I love it! Thank you for the easy tutorial!
You are amazing! Thank you so much for all these amazing tutorials. 😊😊
Unmesh, I created my own 16bit rgb swatch. I couldn't figure out why my values where not accurate until I figured out that I was using a 8bit swatch in a 16 bit image. Just a suggestion, you might want to add that to your videos. I appreciate all you teach us.
Yes, I have a same problem. I work with 16bit rgb files and this swatch somehow are not working!
@@kerkezz I ended up recreating the swatch on a 16bit file, using the same values. So now it works.
How do I recreate the swatch ??
@@MrObrienneil you need to create a blank 16 bit page layer on photoshop and copy the numbers on Umish's color swatch but on a 16bit. That is how it worked for me.
I thought it was a CLICKBAIT but I was completely wrong.
Thumbs up for your work!
Your videos have been such a big help!! I have told my former photography professor about your page. Now he uses your videos to help him edit his photos too!!
You are God sent! So incredibly helpful. I’m so thankful I found your channel.
Pro: Just one button
Amateur: I cant count how many !!!
Haha that's what I thought, but don't worry, once you turn intermediate level you'll see that's it is actually all one button, as all other actions are indeed quite easy
this metod working better with "Image -> Auto Tone"
Nice!
Thanks for the video, this is very helpful
You are a wizard! Thank you so much!
I've learned more from you than from all my teachers in art school combined.
Can you please do one on a black or dark skin?
It is the same technique. Use the darker tone swatch he gave and make your saturation adjustment there.
At the point when I sample my image, all the colors go cyan! I've followed the video 15 times. What am I doing wrong?
did you ever figure it out
Did you make sure to select the Curves settings and not the mask for the Curves layer?
Awesome tute! much love man! thanks for the efford!
Very helpful and time saving bro! Thanks a lot.
Wouldn't WB fix it?!
This has near the same results as white balancing, but I imagine it would work really well at pulling a range of images taken in different lighting conditions into the same relative space rather easy.
I mean, yeah, this was brilliant (as usual) but how the hell was it one click? lol.
he clearly mentions one button not one click .. stupid..
this makes me say WOW! great tuts!
Absolutely helped me a lot! Thank you so much Unmesh! Good luck!
Wow! You are amazing. I started watching your channel just a few days ago. I am so amazed by your work. Thank you!
