When my daughter was 4, I was fabric shopping in a shop with a big sale..they had little red and yellow tags on each bolt to you could see the sale price..I got lots and went to get the bus home. My daughter and I had to cross a street and so I went to take her hand but she couldn't take mine since she had quite a few of the sale tags off the bolts. Probably 30-40 of them.. Oh dear

Thoroughly enjoyable as always , love to see what you have received, bought, made. I buy quite a lot of throws, duvets etc to make into something else you can get some lovely and different fabrics at good prices , loved the cushion fabric

Those goodies for bag making look fantastic! I can also see a bumbag in that holographic fabric. Maybe you'll get to sew something fun for your trip?? As for the red fabric, if you haven't sewn Deer and Doe before then toile it first. I've not sewn these patterns simply because I'm not an hourglass and their waist measurements are TI - NY! Nevertheless, it'll be awesome in red and I can't wait to see it made up. I just love all the fabrics in this video, even though the colours are your colours and not mine, they are stunning.
Thank you 😊 Yes I've made a couple of D&D patterns now and just made sure I graded my measurements where needed - luckily they came out great so it's given me the confidence to give the jumpsuit a go now 🤞
That holographic bag would be amazing at festivals, or whenever else you feel like going the extra mile to wear a maximalist dream outfit 😁
I might have tripped over some of that navy lemon print linen, now I need to hope it arrives in time so I can sew something for my trip to Italy in late June.

I've noted the Deer&Doe pattern as though I don't do jumpsuits it looks exactly what I want for a Summer wedding. The bag set is glorious - the faux leather looks amazing. I've also signed up for the patterns only CCC course and even though I have a zillion fabrics have bought 5 specials to make up the items. There's a bonus pattern and I think I might raid my stash for that LOL. I don't think we can help it when we see fabrics.... and patterns. Great vlog as always - as I've said before it's like we are sharing your [sewing] gossip over a cup of coffee together.😎❤

I’m a few months in to the Learn to Fit course. I’m learning a lot, but finding it quite tricky. You really need to be accurate and that is not my strong point! Just packed it all up in disgust and poured myself a very large glass of wine. It will be really interesting to see what you think of it.
Ahh it’s definitely tricky but well worth it in the end. Remember to use the group for help from the experts xx
Don’t worry I’m back on track and have removed my toile from the naughty corner 😂! I am learning so much and Katie has been a great help. I think the skills I’m learning will really improve my sewing in the future.

Be careful with the large scale floral fabric if you do make palazzo pants; you don't want a giant flower right on your hooha. Or maybe you do, who am I to judge?🏵 That bag making box is so fun, the oil slick faux leather is gorgeous and the bits and bobs are awesome.
