Thank you for preaching the truth. My dad is a Baptist pastor in a little town in the middle of nowhere. We have a congregation of about 20 ppl. My kids and I make up about a quarter of that. My dad preaches the word where nobody else is brave enough to because then they might end up with an exodus of ppl who want their ears tickled. We may be small in number, but we are concerned with being holy and righteous before God. Not pleasing men. You sound a lot like him, and I am glad to know that God is faithful and like he told Elijah: "Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel-all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him.” 1 Kings 19:18 NIV
Thank you for the message, straight from Scripture. I'm struggling with just this...and when fellow believers call me out as wicked and sinning for how I view the gray areas/"eating meat." I've tried acting for their good, not my own, even unto wearing a mask in church or getting the jab or not going to church during Covid...but I am still hurt by the condemnation of fellow brothers. I wish they would read this same Scripture and seek my good occasionally, too... Plus, I see how put off unbelievers are by such legalistic behavior (e.g., dancing, drinking, men with long hair, wearing a cross, etc.)...and I just get so frustrated. Nevertheless, thank you, pastor, for teaching the Word and feeding Christ's lambs. I've got lots to chew on...
Subscribed. Beautifully explained pastor. I pray that all human in this planet hear this preaching specially "Christians" and all this comment of "livvyloohoo2033". Blessings to all of you. As the scripture says "whatever you do, do it all for HIS glory". All glory to HIM and HIM only. May your congregation keep in spreading HIS word. Stay blessed.🙏
