Rave started to change in 98 and I was so gutted I retired until 2015. It was Paul Culley (dj Delite) that got me back raving 🥳🥳🥳, he was putting on a old skool happy hardcore / breakbeat night at the original die electric club (die hard) in leicester called be happy, he told me I would fking love it and that I really did 🥳🥳🥳🥳. Unknown to me another club from skegness were doing a competition for the best raver of the night for 2 free tickets to their next rave, it was at the old bingo hall by seaside (not far from the old fantasy island❤), forgot the name, hmr or something and out of 300 people who won them 😍😍😍😍😍😍🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳, it was my whistle and glow sticks that won me the tickets, mad thing is they were only 10 quid each and venue 130 miles away, but I was so proud to be on the guest list i had to go 🥳🥳🥳🥳 At be happy 1, I was blowing my whistle ferociously and this one dude came to shake my hand but had to wipe the excess spit coming out my whistle off his face first 🤣, you would get chopped up for that now days 😒
