Celine's vocals are more advanced + experience+ popularity + resonance which dimash couldn't simply have all of his high notes are strained and sound like empty without feeling and fire in the note.
The only two things that Dimash is good at are his vocal range and his agility, he is able to reach a strained D8 as well as do a lot of complicated run/riffs. But that is all he got. I do not say that he is bad but his other techniques are just not as good as Celine. When Dimash hits high notes, it sounds badly, empty which are due to lack of support. Meanwhile, Celine can handle it with great breath control. If you notice, Celine shows great control of breath in this video too, look at the way she controls the whispering notes and her vibrato. It is just on another level that Dimash cannot hold a candle.

Так что нет и не было ничего особенно невероятного в том, что Селин и Димаш могли бы вместе спеть например у того же самого Дэвида Фостера, с которым оба знакомы. Димаш дружен и сотрудничает по меньшей мере с тремя композиторами, которые работали в разное время с Селин Дион - с Дэвидом Фостером, Уолтером Афанасьефф и с Флавиеном Компаньон. Так что, если бы не болезнь Селин , скорее всего они бы с Димашем встретились. Тем более, что стареющие звёзды как правило совсем не против выступать вместе с молодыми.
