Great Episode Matt 👏🏼 Love that gravel road route you took from Sutherland south-wards. So many exciting alternative routes to take in SA. A question if I may; why to you use Gaia GPS over the likes of Google Earth? I’m just curious. Enjoying following your and Nicole’s travels. Cheers, Richard
I did Port Nolloth to PE in January 2021. Absolutely fantastic between Harolds Bay and Groenrivier lighthouse. There is also another stretch from the lighthouse South. Excellent driving there.
Crazy question but do they have On X Off-road for South Africa. If not that would be a cool colab for you and them as much back road hunting and driving you do

West coasts on my bucket list, probably N to S, give CT a complete miss, can't stand the place,, like to pick up the coast at PE / EL....

Love your adventures. But , I have a question. How in the world do you all carry enough fuel for trips like that in the middle of nowhere?
I have an auxiliary fuel tank. So 160L of diesel in total. Watch my Namakwa 4x4 series… 7 days on one fill😁
