I use to have this boat it was awesome. I bought it new when bass pro shops stopped selling crownline in 2008 for $ 55 k and the msrp was $ 150 k . What a deal !

Nice boat/video, fam!! I’ve got a very similar situation. 2006 Searay Sundancer 260. 28’ X 8.5’..7500 dry weight. Was lucky to find one with the 8.1L. Are these ‘knot’ the perfect cruisers? I’m going to follow your lead and do a bow thruster now also. The peace of mind must be priceless. Your Crownline has a lot of nice touches to it too. Beautiful boat. If I may ask..do you know what final drive gearing your drive has..and what props, pitch, and top speed is? Mine has a 2.4:1 and I’m running 28 pitch 4 blade duo props on bravo III..Topping out at 39/40mph but only getting 4400/rpm..maybe some engine strain. I may want to find a 1.8:1 and go with 23/24 pitch..just wondering what you’re getting from yours. Sorry for turning comments to a forum :)

Thanks!. You won't regret getting a bow thruster!. It just makes boating so much more enjoyable. Actually I don't own the Crownline anymore. I made the switch to a Beneteau sail boat last year, so can't help you with the gearing I had in mine. However it could be because of the 4 bladed props you have that you don't see higher rpm. I've never seen the Bravo drives with 4 bladed props.
