    You’re not saying the hips and shoulders will be at 45, at contact. You’re saying the arm and racket are stretched out to the 45?
    On a semi-open stanced forehand the hips and shoulders will be facing the target, at 0 degrees, right? And on a two handed backhand the hips and shoulders will be closer to 45 degrees at contact, right? And on a one handed backhand the hips and shoulders will be at 90 deg. at contact but the arm is out at 45?

    so much crap online yet this most important universal concept is barely viewed...the 45 is everything in tennis baseball and golf!
