Chris Fer she wasn’t nervous crying. In the full audition she talks about her close friend who passed away from suicide. They did music together so she was crying about him.
It wasn't nervous crying, it was all of the emotion and the pain that she poured from losing her friend into the song.

No I think that was edited by the production team, to let the note come through nicely. The cheering stopped too abruptly for it to be natural pausing of a crowd that big.
