That is the main time I listen for them each day and I usually find my doublet gives me a fair bit better signal to listen to than my Wellbrook loop does up at that frequency. They get a lot stronger a couple of hours later. 73.
It booms in here to Finland. It’s been weaker of late but it can be heard with just a whip on a portable. It’s great they are continuing to broadcast on SW.
@ Yes I was a big listener to Radio Australia. I have QSL’s and stickers. It’s sad that Alice Springs left on 2310 kHz as that was a favourite catch years ago. Here we get ABC Busselton (Perth) on 1152 kHz MW and ABC Adelaide on 891 kHz coming into Northern Finland.

Thanks for your comments. It was definitely a bit early to copy them well but getting to work on time is (unfortunately!) more important lol.

It is great they are continuing. I still miss ABC and the NT etc.

Yes, I managed to copy all of their signals over a period of 2 or 3 years, such a shame they left shortwvae. Wow to getting Aus on medium wave! 73
