Geno did a great job. When he stays out of his head and relaxes he does well…even without the oline protection which he needs. KJ is not a traitor, he wanted to stay and work with Seattle, but they didn’t want him… I think they didn’t want any leftovers from the Pete Carrol era. I sure wish BWagz was still here too.

That’s my QUARTERBACK!!! I still remember it like it was yesterday.. 2021 Week 5 Seahawks hosting the Rams. Wilson gets injured and GENO comes in and doesn’t miss a beat! Hawks still ended up losing that game, but that’s not what I remember from it. Wilson injured his finger and all hope was lost. But GENO comes in and he drove us right down that field! He was that spark and the match was LIT!! And then he marched us right down AGAIN!! He made a few legitimate elite-level dimes that got everyone on their feet! The entire crowd was chanting “GENO! GENO! GENO! GENOOOO!!!” it was magical. It’s crazy too because Seattle fans know to only get loud on defense but we couldn’t help ourselves. I’ve gone to 2-3 games a year on average since the 90’s and have watched every game even in the 2 win seasons with Cortez winning DPOTY. Seen the highest highs and the lowest lows and everything in between. With all that said, that moment after Wilson got injured and all the manufactured drama his “team” had created and sucked all the life out of that team.. to have our “MVP” get injured, only to have *checks notes* Geno Smith come in and have the ENTIRE STADIUM chanting his name… it was magical!!! I wonder if that game sticks with him as it did to me. As a lifelong Hawks fan, that was one of my all-time favorite moments. It’s great having a QB that I love being able to root for! Not to besmirch Wilson as he helped bring our team its first championship. But… I never heard the entire stadium chant for a single player like that before. I’v been a Seahawks fan since 09 and have lived in Wv since I was less than 3 years old. I’m a fan of Michigan state but I always loved watching Geno play. Since the Seahawks signed him I hoped he’d be able to lead a team one day but to finally grow up seeing it all happen on MY team has truly been expiring as a fan.

Every time I hear Geno speak he just reminds me what a great dude he is. Also, props to Sherm for making a point of thanking Geno for his time. It always bugs me when interviewers don’t do that.
One thing I loved about Geno when he played with Russell Wilson. He was always at his side. After each series, especially after turning the ball over, there he was sitting by Russ on the bench reviewing and discussing the video replays together. And during the game when coach would call time and call Russ to the sidelines to talk strategy...there he was right with them watching, listening, sharing, growing. So, I definitely notice the young QB is rarely seen practicing the same game awareness. Always loved Geno's remark to a question, "What's it like to be the number 2 QB to Russell Wilson?" Geno's reply something like, "No sir, I let Coach Carroll know, I'm not the number 2, but he has 2 number 1 QBs!!" GO HAWKS!

Gino needs to throw more touchdowns. He already has 11 interceptions this year, which is basically the most he's had. Two years ago, he had 11 interceptions, however, he had 30 touchdowns. I think he only has like 10 or 11 touchdowns this year so far. I think he has to play better down the stretch of this season. Perhaps he could now that the offensive line is getting healthier.

Every time I hear Geno speak he just reminds me what a great dude he is. Also, props to Sherm for making a point of thanking Geno for his time. It always bugs me when interviewers don’t do that.
One thing I loved about Geno when he played with Russell Wilson. He was always at his side. After each series, especially after turning the ball over, there he was sitting by Russ on the bench reviewing and discussing the video replays together. And during the game when coach would call time and call Russ to the sidelines to talk strategy...there he was right with them watching, listening, sharing, growing. So, I definitely notice the young QB is rarely seen practicing the same game awareness. Always loved Geno's remark to a question, "What's it like to be the number 2 QB to Russell Wilson?" Geno's reply something like, "No sir, I let Coach Carroll know, I'm not the number 2, but he has 2 number 1 QBs!!" GO HAWKS!
I love how honest these guys are on how its alot of had work and what they have to do to achieve their goal at the end of the day. Along with their talent... Great game and great finish yesterday... Go Seahawks !!

As a die hard Niner fan I’m done with the Niners. You Geno are the real deal. When I went to Seattle for the first game the 12’s were world class fans very respectful and met many new friends there. Gino needs to throw more touchdowns. He already has 11 interceptions this year, which is basically the most he's had. Two years ago, he had 11 interceptions, however, he had 30 touchdowns. I think he only has like 10 or 11 touchdowns this year so far. I think he has to play better down the stretch of this season. Perhaps he could now that the offensive line is getting healthier.
