Coach Keatts at N.C. STATE recruited Deivon out of high school…State needs to replace D.J. Horne and Deivon is very similiar to D.J….This would be the perfect fit…Come on to Raleigh and play in the ACC where you will get national exposure and your game will excell in our guard dominant offense
Deivon is more of a scoring PG than a replacement for DJH. More of a paint touch distributor than Horne. He would probably need to start at the 1 and slide to the 2 at times w MOC coming in off the bench at the 1, which means we might lose Mike to the portal. That said I would be escatatic if we got Smith and Mike stays.
