It should be normal, that the Y HYD reservoir is a bit lower than the other two, becauce the cargo doors are open. These are powered by the Y HYD system.

Heeeey nice - the FS-Labs Airbus cockpit looked that good six years ago?? Wow impressive! High quality textures, even the seats are high polygon with smooth rounded shaped headrest, awesome high quality graphics is indeed very important. Have a look at many other aircraft, areas like circuit breaker panels, the seats, the fire extinguisher and many other areas of the cockpit still look like some angular lowest polygon 128x128 pixel texture PlayStation 3 asset, with everything that should be rounded is instead low-poly hexagonal-angular-shaped in the year 2023. Even in many of the most expensive addon-airplane cockpits, and they justify visuals that just completely suck by declaring it as "FPS-friendly". But this FS Labs Airbus looks really high quality, this cockpit already looked marvelous over half a decade ago. Awesome visuals (and of course the simulated system realism and system depth is absolute.) This FS Labs was years ahead of it´s time, just like the Fenix. Looks like my beloved Fenix Airbus quality can also be found Prepar3D!! We have the Captain Sim 757 and 767 freighters, we have the FS Labs A321 freighter, we have the PMDG Queen of the Skies freighter, and everything is master-degree-study level quality! Have you ever flown the Fenix A320, does it feel any different in some systems compared to the FS Labs A320? Which one has the more complex MCDU computer with more complex calculations and inputs to do?
The FSLabs 320 is a great plane and I have done hundreds of flights with it. But it is also a bit buggy, especially when it comes to loading situations / panel states.
@@Blackbox711 No. It is a clean install. For example, when loading a flight on the ground, it is not possible to enter new DEP/DEST airports. Or the FMC lighting is messed up. Or other small things. I love the plane but they should have ironed out all bugs.

You forgot to turn on your navigation lights once the aircraft is powered up :). Great video though, very helpful as I'm only used to Boeing planes, this has got me up to speed.
Hi. Thank you. Please be aware that some airlines do not use the NAV light on procedure you stated. It is not a legal requirement. The legal requirement says the NAV lights shall be on from sunset to sunrise.

Hi. Good question. For us we don’t have it in our SOP’s to test it ourselves. It is done regularly by maintenance. Also the system is monitoring itself.

Normally the komma key (,) is to be pressed continuously to activate the nose gear steering. Also you can change that setting in the MCDU under Options

That is probably the VAS - Virtual Address Space warning. Simply explained, VAS is a working space of a program. Do not think physical memory has anything to do with this. VAS is a specific space for an application, which can, under 64bit operating system be up to 4GB for the 32bit application. So it doesn't matter how much RAM you have, FSX will run out of memory. Especially with high VAS inducing addons (like Aerosoft Heathrow Airport). If you Google "VAS FSX" you will get some tips. Reagards

Hi. Thank you very much. If you external electric power you would wait with the APU start until shortly before push-back. However if you want to use the airconditioning to make your passengers happy, you either need external airconditioning or if not available the APU Bleed Air. Now, the APU uses approx. 75-100 kg of kerosin per hour if you are only using it to supply electricity. When you switch on two airconditioning packs, the. APU will then use about 150-175 kg of kerosin per hour. However one pack is sufficient to aircondition the cabin in normal circumstances. That is why usually you would only switch on one pack. Only in extreme cold of hot environmental conditions you need both packs. So by using only one pack you can reduce the bleed demand on the APU and hence the fuel consumption. Regarding Crew Oxygen: The minimum pressure depends on how many people are flying on the flightdeck. For example if there is only 2 pilots, then 800 psi would be enough. However if for some reason you have 2 pilots and 2 observers, I.e. 4 persons in the flightdeck, you need a minimum of at least 1200 psi. There are limitation tables available for pilots to figure this out. Regards

Even if the plane is C&D, you can turn on the MCDU (by pressing 3sec on BRT), and search for the externals controls. Then connect the GPU and you're ready to fly !

Hi Drake. Not sure what you mean. If you press the brightness key for several seconds, the MCDU will come alive. Then either press FMC or go to the Options Menu on the right. Hope that helps....
Hi BB, my new Sim has finally arrived and I'm going through your Vids to catch up, when I do C&D start all my fuel pumps are switched off, I noticed in your video they are all on, is this normal? Also do you need to switch them off again when shutting down or when refuelling is taking place? +Rotary Buzz ... Hey Rotary! Good to hear that you finally got into the 320 Sim. It is correct that the Fuelpumps are all off when starting from C&D. Some Airlines leave them switched off until shortly before engine start. Other airlines keep them on all the time. So feel free to use either method. The important thing is to remember to switch them on when starting the engines. Otherwise you'll get funny ECAM Warnings 😉. Enjoy the wonderful A320 and Happy Landings 👍🏼

When the APU is started is something that’s written in the Airline SOPs. And all the Setup is generally not Checklisted. That’s part of the Typerating. Checklist only have the bare minimums of Items you need to fly.

+Raul Aubele i. Thank you for your kind words! In P3D V4 the installer will always install 4096 textures. Personally I have always used 4096 because I am using a 4K screen. You will have a bigger impact on your PC when using higher resolution settings. However you can still influence this in the graphics settings in P3D to your preference. Regards
What is Piper Cub? I think that it's an airplane. And, before takeoff on my PFD is an title "Check alt" or something. And on ecam, there is W/S off. How to fix this?
In P3D you just get the aircraft into the Cold and Dark state and save that flight. In FSX there is a workaround with the Trike plane. Pls check the FSLabs Forum for that. Regards
Hi Nathan. This would be switched on manually on ground (engines off) if you have ice/snow contamination on the probes or windshields. Once one engine is running the probes and windows are heated automatically. Regards
Hey great videos. I am new to FSLabs. I just started using the A320 for P3D v5. Q: Why do the graphics in your videos look Sooo much better than the stock A320 from FSLAbs? My cockpit items look dismal compared to yours. Particularly when just looking at the visuals in the cockpit, the textures look almost real. Other videos from other people look just as bad as mine, so wondering what are you doing that is different. Thank in advance
Hi Luftwurzel. If you see the Green Avail light on the overhead panel just press that button. If there is no Green light then go to the MCDU , then Options and then Ext Controls and then select GPU connect. Regards

Hi Fariz. Usually you would delay the start of the APU shortly before engine start because it uses around 100 - 150 kg of Fuel per hour. However if the cabin temperature gets too high or too low, you should switch on the APU earlier and use it for air conditioning.
go into panel states, load state then select cold and dark, after that you should see insert from what i remember. if not then just press the lowest right LSK. Another way is spawn a Piper J-3 Cub, shut down the engine either manually or using ctrl+shift+f1. press alt then select vehicle and from there select fslabs a320 iae or cfm and spawn in

tiffany51793 ... I am no PC expert either. But I have published my PC Specs in the comment section below the video. Apart from the fact that 16 GB RAM is enough, that is the requirement if you want at least a minimum of 15 FPS in FSX. Regards

+I737Prepar3D .. has nothing to do with ezca. It has to do with the visual zoom factor. If you zoom out too much you cannot use switches and buttons. Also please uae the official FSLabs Support Forum to get help

There should be one in the MCDU. It is also described in the Manual.

Just take the Piper Cub, switch off the engine and then change the plane. The 320 should be in a C&D situation

That is the ISIS (Integrated Standby Instrument System). So gives you a standby Attitude, speed and altitude indication.

Hi Drake. Not sure what you mean. If you press the brightness key for several seconds, the MCDU will come alive. Then either press FMC or go to the Options Menu on the right. Hope that helps....

Hi BB, my new Sim has finally arrived and I'm going through your Vids to catch up, when I do C&D start all my fuel pumps are switched off, I noticed in your video they are all on, is this normal? Also do you need to switch them off again when shutting down or when refuelling is taking place? Thanks for all your hard work, after watching all your streams for so long it's great to be finally doing it myself!
+Rotary Buzz ... Hey Rotary! Good to hear that you finally got into the 320 Sim. It is correct that the Fuelpumps are all off when starting from C&D. Some Airlines leave them switched off until shortly before engine start. Other airlines keep them on all the time. So feel free to use either method. The important thing is to remember to switch them on when starting the engines. Otherwise you'll get funny ECAM Warnings 😉. Enjoy the wonderful A320 and Happy Landings 👍🏼

Correct. But if I mention that, people will write “you are in a Simulator, what noise complaints will you get?”

When the APU is started is something that’s written in the Airline SOPs. And all the Setup is generally not Checklisted. That’s part of the Typerating. Checklist only have the bare minimums of Items you need to fly.

+Raul Aubele i. Thank you for your kind words! In P3D V4 the installer will always install 4096 textures. Personally I have always used 4096 because I am using a 4K screen. You will have a bigger impact on your PC when using higher resolution settings. However you can still influence this in the graphics settings in P3D to your preference. Regards

What is Piper Cub? I think that it's an airplane. And, before takeoff on my PFD is an title "Check alt" or something. And on ecam, there is W/S off. How to fix this?

In P3D you just get the aircraft into the Cold and Dark state and save that flight. In FSX there is a workaround with the Trike plane. Pls check the FSLabs Forum for that. Regards
When is the probe window heat used/required?
Hi Nathan. This would be switched on manually on ground (engines off) if you have ice/snow contamination on the probes or windshields. Once one engine is running the probes and windows are heated automatically. Regards
Hey great videos. I am new to FSLabs. I just started using the A320 for P3D v5. Q: Why do the graphics in your videos look Sooo much better than the stock A320 from FSLAbs? My cockpit items look dismal compared to yours. Particularly when just looking at the visuals in the cockpit, the textures look almost real. Other videos from other people look just as bad as mine, so wondering what are you doing that is different. Thank in advance

Hi Luftwurzel. If you see the Green Avail light on the overhead panel just press that button. If there is no Green light then go to the MCDU , then Options and then Ext Controls and then select GPU connect. Regards

Hi Fariz. Usually you would delay the start of the APU shortly before engine start because it uses around 100 - 150 kg of Fuel per hour. However if the cabin temperature gets too high or too low, you should switch on the APU earlier and use it for air conditioning.

How to start cold and dark without using MCDU II ?
go into panel states, load state then select cold and dark, after that you should see insert from what i remember. if not then just press the lowest right LSK. Another way is spawn a Piper J-3 Cub, shut down the engine either manually or using ctrl+shift+f1. press alt then select vehicle and from there select fslabs a320 iae or cfm and spawn in

tiffany51793 ... I am no PC expert either. But I have published my PC Specs in the comment section below the video. Apart from the fact that 16 GB RAM is enough, that is the requirement if you want at least a minimum of 15 FPS in FSX. Regards

In FSLAB main menu of P3D Top Page Menu, there are several states and you can load a COLD and DARK State
