Great lecture.
There were a few gaps though in the assessment of the Jewish approach to living in the Land. The Jews DO NOT view our presence in the land, both in the past and now as unconditional. We are well aware of the concept imparted in Leviticus 18:28: “So let not the land spew you out for defiling it, as it spewed out the nation that came before you.” We know that nothing is guaranteed, rather is contingent on our faithfulness to the Torah. I know that everyone loves talking about "Zionism", but it is a tertiary concept among the Jews, and one that is not fully understood among non-Jews, to put it nicely.
The corrupt, godless individuals who rule the State of Israel do not act for the benefit of the Jewish people are known among the Jews as the "Erev Rav." For those interested look the term up. Many, many Jews who dwell in the Land are good people and long for Godliness, purity, and holiness. The best thing a Muslim can do for a Jew is not to fight him or oppress him, despite the current political issues and conflict, but rather to encourage him to return to the Torah.
We do not know what will happen in the future. The Islamic prophecy quoted is at odds with many of the prophecies in the Old Testament, which our Sages say refers to a future time that has not yet occurred. In any case it makes no sense to worry about "what will be" The main thing is to spend one's entire life, all his energy, and resources pursuing truth, refined character, purity, and complete trust in the Creator of the World.
I am a Jew and a Zionist, but this is the first Muslim I have ever seen who actually understands Judaism. I have heard so many lies spread about the Jews by muslims. But this man very well understands the difference between the religion of Judaism and the descendants of Israel. He also understands the covenant which is the basis of religious Judaism. I do not like how he treats our converts, they join us, just like when you marry someone you become family even if you don't have the same blood. Ruth is a convert to Judaism and she is the grandmother of King David! So if you convert to Judaism, you are joining the tribe of Judah which is one of the sons of Israel. But I thank you for the other things and histories you explained, it was truthful and accurate. I do agree that the Jews (who ARE the descendants of Israel) must govern justly to occupy the land. I hope for peace, I hope for justice, and I hope two people can find a way to share, and to love. The Jewish people deserve a home as they have been forced out of almost every Muslim and Christian nation, and they cannot return to Iraq nor to Germany. But the people of Gaza and the West Bank also deserve dignity and life.

I agree with justice for all humanity, what I don’t understand is why you are Zionist; is it not so that at the core of Zionist ideology is ethnic supremacy of the Jews above all? And is not true that the founding‘father’s’ of this secular ideology want to ethically cleanse the ‘land’ of Judiah?

Appreciate it. Only thing is, Muslims kept Jews in their land when Christians kicked them out. Most of the expulsions took place during monarchy. Outside the havara agreement, Muslims never wanted to expel Jews. Iran has the largest Jewish population in the region outside Israel. There's Jews living in Yemen, Syria today.
@@louisdeniau8571 I can't actually. I'm not German, I don't qualify for citizenship. But more importantly if yu are serious about justice and about peace... do you see anything problematic about telling Jews to go back and live in the country where 90% of our population was incinerated in ovens. What is happening in Palestine is an awful tragedy, and that is only about 1% of Palestinians dead... now imagine a people who lost 90%, telling them they need to go back there and be at the mercy of another society is disingenuous. And more importantly half of Jewish Israelis came from the Muslim world. They can't go back to Iraq, They cant go back to Syria etc. Islam and the umma is half responsible for what is happening in palestine. If Islam seriously wants to help Palestine they need to recognize what they did to help create this problem. It is the only way.
@@samhedine723 I'll be honest, disagree on most of this. You can't blame Islam, if Jews were expelled 109 times because of extremism, it's hard to blame the other party.
Muslims didn't create the Palestinian problem. That is 100% on European Zionist. You guys barely practice Judaism in Israel. Almost all the Hasidics in NY don't acknowledge Israel. Muslims didn't exterminate Jews. Nor did they behead babies or rape your women. If there's one thing thats true about Israel, its that nothing they say has any truth.
If Israel continues to act this way, you are looking at a world where it will seize to exist in the next 20 years. Lebanon is not the same it was in 2006, Israel lost that battle. And it will lose again. It will recieve the Ukrainian treatment and it'll be because of America and European countries who will sacrifice Israel for the military industry and it's billionaire doners. West is falling socially, economically and militarily. They will use every Israeli to the last soldier. There's good people in Israel that don't deserve it but unless people rise up again their government, this will inevitably lead to world war.
