The way I deal with narcs is after they've identified themselves, I look past the skin suit and right at the entity. It keeps the mind clear and helps with the appropriate responses when you're looking directly at the demon in front of you.
Total opposite for me. I will never look at Satan's minions again once identified and they try to talk to me. Have found in my situation to deal,, they hate not having a reflection(someone looking at them) back at them. (Supply refusal sucks them dry they hate not having fuel to fill up on). No energy for vampires You do what's good and works for you. No works for me and no opinion/response is my choice too. All cool.

He admitted at a Easter gathering at the kids house he changed the radio station in the barn (when he wasn't living there & I thought I was loosing my mind) cause the animals didn't need to listen to my music! Snakes would randomly appear in hopes I would call him to take care of them, I got really good with a shovel! I could go on & on- So grateful I don't live there anymore & I know they never change!

Something I have noticed is the my present partner never laughs. Other people have even noticed and said something about it. My situation is that I am in the cycle right now. I didn’t know this kind of person existed. I recently identified the narc. Nearly 10 years and I have lost myself, but not completely. The smear campaign, has been full circle and a stranger I didn’t know very well at work over heard me and been with a narc. And had to escape and gets therapy now because of his damage. Everything she said I was like “me too” “he’s done that” everything was the same so I began learning. Now I am here. When we met I was just one semester shy graduation with degree in SA counseling which I did graduate with the A.S. But planned for B.A. (you had to have that) but he threw everything at me to make it hard. He was stronger, I expected him to respect my goals not tell me what should be important. I remembered asking him why he didn’t care or listen. I couldn’t raise his two young children go from one 10 year old to a 5, 4, and 10, that’s three kids and start the full time program at UNC. Well he won, wore me down. I was told his ex wife hurt him so I thought love fixes all things, but not him. I learned but not without losing my dream. On top of that he wanted me to give him my left over monies from the pal grant I got. Like a month after and guilted me into that. Now he’s squeezed all the juice out and I have to do something he’s tried everything to either hurt me or drive me out of OUR house I am afraid that he may be setting me up to do worse (because of a comment he made and his fear of losing the house) This is no grab your clothes and run thing. “Naw to the hell haw” I am having a hard time controlling myself knowing what he has done and then the things he says to me. Of course he projects himself on to me and any attempt to save money back has been met with some sort of emergency were I need to give it to him I am totally at his mercy it feels like so sometimes I have felt like I am in the twighlight zone. Nothing makes sense. Thanks for listening any advice is welcome

My narc loved freezing cold showers. I have fibromyalgia and love hot showers due to poor cold intolerance. He would splash cold water on me as a "joke" and it would send me into a seizure. I get what you are saying and it cracked me up. It does not surprise me that boiling hot baths is to boil off that hatred. I think the narc I was with liked ice cold showers because it made him feel like Jesus to tolerate something I couldn't and even named himself after a Hindu God and at the end of the relationship he actually wanted to be called the Spanish pronunciation of Jesus because he was convinced he's better than most people.

I got a good one for you jesse. Two years one phone call middle of the night one ring. Did not respond. About 4 months into getting divorced and no contact. Not a word. For for another year. About six months ago. A young lady bartender. She knows my niece from being my nephews scout leader. She passed along my uncles my mothers brothers bible to her. My niece gave it to her mother my sister who gave it to me in a gallon ziplock. I never opened the bag or touched it. I put in a cabinet out of sight. I woke up as I do often about 4 am with an overwhelming urge to get it out of my house. Now I don’t trust this witch a little bit. I got it out and put in trash outside. Never worried about the loss of memories as I have plenty. But I broke no contact for this reason. I text the witch told her nice try I’m not buying. Threw my uncles bible away untouched. Went and got a new one. They are for sale and free in places. But that one definitely was no longer mine. As you corrupted it with your narcy claws. Crickets ever since Lolol.
