Strongly disagree with your Loki take here, Alec, he did get a change, his vanish resetting on kill which honestly felt amazing. Getting off 4 vanishes in less than 5 seconds in more than 1 teamfight felt incredible, honestly might be my favourite jungle kit now with that addition including all Smite 1 gods.

I think they just need to get rid of relics to begin with. They already have it as an active item anyway. Beads on every character is just not fun to deal with every game. Or if they keep it, at least give an option other than beads. Like the non-combat blink. Or just make less powerful versions of the active items available to get as the 1 relic slot. I don't want beads on a supp lol
You literally have no idea what you're talking about. Overwatch wasn't a complete rebuilding of a 12 year old games entire code from the ground up in an engine 20 years more advanced. Everything about the game is changing fundamentally. This is literally a CLOSED ALPHA testing version of the game available to play for players who whish to support the creation of it while in such an early and unfinished state. If you've seen literally anything about their vision for this game or played it and seen all the changes already in the ALPHA, you would know that. Smite 2 is not the same game at all... the absolute core gameplay for combat, and a MOBA is there, its made to feel like smite, but everything else around that is changing to make it feel newer, and better than ever. Which so far, it does.

They are copying other MOBAs because those MOBAs are a ton more popular, and thise system put in place are a lot better than current smite systems from and balance and gameplay diversity perspective. It'll take getting used to but this is literally just the very first playable rendition of all of these systems. And will only be getting better.

And thats the thing they are of course focusing on FIRST and foremost. I think the game feels and looks a lot better in almost every way. Looking past obvious Alpha playtest bugs and all of the unpolished things that will get there, most of the animations and smoothness of the game already feels leagues better than what smite 1 could ever offer. It's literally a CLOSED alpha. This game is so early in development, more than some people seem to be able to comprehend. It literally is only getting better from here.
They look incredible. He's not playing on max settings and UA-cam is compressing the hell out of it. If you actually played the game you would be able to see how gorgeous it actually looks

Smite on series s feels really bad. Frame dropping to 30 during team fights and I'm pretty sure we're locked to 720p aswell.
I think they need to bring back starters and have it be a no stat relic kinda starter like the blessings but provide tp for solo shell for sup etc etc
