UP Locos look great when they are clean. Too bad most to the time they look like they have been used to wipe a butt. CN is my all time favorite, but it’s close with BNSF. Gotta give BNSF credit for how clean they keep their equipment.

The "small" units are being repainted on the new GMXT "Ferrococa" scheme (for example the SD40-2 like FXE 3111, 3163, 3139, 3123, 3227 etc), and the "big ones" are being repainted on the new GMXT "Zebra" scheme (for example AC4400CW FXE 4572, 4528 and ES44AC FXE 4824, 4686, 4660, etc). The Kansas City Southern paint Scheme I think right now is the most beautiful paint Scheme on American railroads it's sad that the Canadian Pacific merged with a minutes going to be phased out
I mostly agree with this but I do think NS should have been ranked higher. Sure black and white is a little boring but the horse design looks really good.

If you are admitting a bias, WTH kind of list is this? While I will admit that the NS scheme is bad, the UP and BNSF are only marginally better. In fact, IMO, the UP is the second worst on the list only to NS. KCS, CN, and CP are all far better looking.
All ranked lists are bias by nature. There is somebody out there that thinks that Penn Central had the best scheme of all time. It is matter of opinion. I do admit that if I was looking from a totally unbiased perspective the KCS and CN are maybe more complex or designed better but I personally like the UP scheme more.

Thus, Deutsche Bahn has s high speed (PASEENGER) rail which their speen train can reach 260 mph compare to amtraks avelia 220 mph. They also have pad locks on their switches and their trains as well their conductors and train engineers are very well trained compared to the Pacific National and the Union Pacific. But PN's engineers and conductors are still superior and the UP is very inferior.
