Without any medical explanation or warning, Nick Vujicic was born in Melbourne, Australia, without arms and legs. According to Nick, the victory over his struggles, as well as his strength and passion for life today, can be credited to his faith in God. His family, friends and the many people he has encountered along the journey have inspired him to carry on as well.
Since his first speaking engagement at age 19, Nick has traveled around the world, sharing his story with millions, sometimes in stadiums filled to capacity. Nick established Life Without Limbs ministry in 2005, and he is currently serving as President and CEO. In 2012, Nick married the love of his life and now they have four beautiful children.
Nick has written several bestselling books, such as Life Without Limits: Inspiration for a Ridiculously Good Life and Be the Hands and Feet: Living Out God’s Love for All His Children. Nick is truly an inspiration, and I was so honored to have him on The School of Greatness today.

Nick makes me think. My first love was Fred (he has passed years ago now from the same disease I have) but my mom felt that he wasn't the one for me because of his health, height, etc. Very similar, actually. Now decades later, I realized that even if we find love, and it doesn't work out, it doesn't mean we missed our chance. Just like Nick is now married and has kids, I became engaged with Jeff and Fred married Lori. It just makes me think, some people cannot get past their preconceived notions of what is normal and what is needed for success, but here Nick has proven that success is not limited by your body. Thank you, Nick!

Hey Nick: You have something that is so amazing and it is your attitude about life. When I was watching you describing your amazing life with all the school kids, the camera was also on them and I was watching how they were reacting to you which was very touching. In the beginning, you had everybody there laughing, and then the serious part came in. You had young kids, many with solemn faces and some, crying. You were reaching them, most likely in ways, that they were mesmerized, as well as me. You are an inspiration to everyone and it is a pleasure for me to find a person, such as yourself to be able to know what you did struggle with and how you overcame these struggles.

I totally understand what you were saying about letting go of first love. It has taken me a long long time to let go of my first love with whom I had 2 beautiful children. I finally had a chat with him and explained that he was the love of my life however ,as we grew together , we actually grew apart. It hurt us both. We are both with other partners now and are looking forward to the birth of our first grandchild. Sometimes we are with someone for a season however that connection can last a lifetime
