I've been hesitant one these Yolopark models just because I'd prefer them to scale with SS stuff, but this might be the one that gets me to go in, it looks so good. Also eyeballing their G1 Megatron model, it looks incredible as well.
As a haver of the g1 megs, my only real issues are how tight the back cannon pegs in, making it slightly inconvenient to toggle his eyes, the lack of an angry grimace expression, and the flight stand being broken( a me thing, I recomend being somewhat careful with the display stand, sunce I still havent gotten back from yolopark after a couple weeks now). Scales well with the reactivate optimus(in my opinion, not going off the silly ahh sunbow chart), and passable with most modern voyager primes. Only other problems I have are preference based tolerance problems, minor nitpicks with things such as the skirts clashing with each other, and the same proportional semi-issues I have with literally every transformer with the knee and elbow placement. All of which you could easily ignore because man oh man it looks great in person, and the upper body can get into practically any pose you want with little more finnegling than the oblique crunch being just slightly too loose to hold the weight of everything above it for extended periods of time. Also this reply may seem like ita focussing more on the negative aspects, but I generally tend to speak more on negative aspects so take most of this reply with a grain of salt. Also his hands can be attached to any 5mm port.
It's the shoulderpads that make this so good for me. Even the upgrade kits for the SS ROTB Scourge haven't fixed the weird pointy shoulder pads it has because of concept art.
Yeah it's unfortunate that the SS figure's shoulders can't be changed due to how necessary they are for transformation. The shoulders on this figure are AWESOME.
@@Central_Zensation the thing about DNA designs, I think it's small since they designed it to still be transformable. I f they made it too big, it wouldn't fit into the cab of the truck.
@@louisalphonsobadenas5918 while I understand that, they easily could've done a piece that attacks to the new shoulder to give it the more armored look. DNA designs isn't below parts forming, as they've done it several time before. But that isn't even the biggest issue. Let's not skim past the fact that the new swappable arm piece isn't even film accurate. They just copy and pasted the upgraded arm from the other scourge set and put it on the left arm. The arm in the movie had the claws retract to reveal the hand, with the claw pieces still exposed.
I have to say im not really interested in scourge but seeing you pose him stabbing bumblebee really makes me consider getting him. He looks like such a well made figure.
I'm pretty sure the reason why the mask looks like that when it's removed is because I think Yolopark made some changes to the figure a bit after release because I've seen other reviews and the mask was attached with just one tab and it was a single piece and it had another piece to place there so it hides the slot for the tab but it was very difficult to get it kut so with the new mask it's easier to remove that other piece
I found a way to fix the loose smoke stacks on the ss version of scourge and here’s how I did it first take the smoke stacks out then put superglue in the port holes for each smokestack and let it dry over night and boom no issue oh btw great review
This scourge is literally perfect. The only thing it's missing is being able to transform (but yet again it's supposed to be a non-transformable figure)
Got the Machine Capsule upgrade kit for the studio series, it's ill fitting but after a bit of sanding and cutting it looks phenomenal. Not 100% accurate but it really helps make the figure a whole lot better. (Shouldn't have had to though)
I've been debating getting that set. Is it 3D printed? If so does it have any ugly print lines? I hate those upgrade sets that are just so obviously 3d prints. lol
@Jcc2224 nope it's Injection Moulded hard plastic that fits in hollowness and around the shins. There is disassembly required for the chest pieces though (2 screws on his back). The modifying was only to get the thigh pieces into the hollow spaces and the shin covers to fit on properly. I did have the mask peg snap but that's on me, the figure dropped from about 4 feet. Honestly for what I paid and the result I got was well worth it if you're after a semi accurate and transformable figure, 2 faceplates and both hands articulated. The blade doesn't peg in on mine in truck mode but sits well enough that it's not in the way of anything but the weapon storage. Hope this helps dude, love you an your reviews, this would probably make a great one too. An affordable upgrade kit of good quality (I paid £20 shipped from China)
I know they don't get as many views, but with these new good transformers model kits coming out, I think it'd be a great time to do more gundam vids! (Hg gundam helios from a year or so ago is simple but looks great, def recommend)
Is it still the best thing to grace gods green earth since sliced bread two weeks later? Considering buying one with my report card allowance of 27-36 USD depending on my math grade.
I know, the window installation on this is WILD Sorry I just really like this toy I would have bought regardless? I guess it's impossible to genuinely enjoy something you receive as a sponsorship deal, my bad.

The second DNA kit (the one that has stuff for Nightbird and Battletrap) fixes the shoulders and gives him a second regular arm

Wish Showzstore would f-ing ship it already! I've preordered since NOVEMBER!

Update: nevermind bought an mp13 ko instead. Definently made the right choice, but I still plan to buy a yolopark scourge.
Is there a locking mechanism on the spinny claw because that looks fairly loose and like it would be annoying to deal with by while posing.
There isn't, but honestly it doesn't bother me when posing him at all.
Really cool figure the best scourge imo , I just rewatched the movie too lmfao
I just got rotb mainline rhinox and beast alliance primal
The glazing is insane💀
I know, the window installation on this is WILD

I'd buy it if it wasn't gone in my country cause it was gone as soon as it became available 😅
I mean he only transformed like once in the film
Can you take the blade off
Yes!
I hope they bring Scourge back for the next live action film.
Sure! He'd be missing his arms and head tho lol
