Back to back gems! I always appreciate the reminder that "One cap doesn't fit all & it isn't that (1) thing you need to do that will take you to success." (Not a quote from today) But you realize its the combination of steps that all need to happen in a sort of harmony to really push the meter further and further for new heights.
Sam & Jordon always pulls these "steps" like tactics & strategies from their guest. I appreciate the perspective it gives you on how you can look at projects and workflow.
From my experience. Firstly understanding it's a process alleviates so much of the added pressure and judgment we tend to throw on ourselves (When starting out or have no one to give us a confirmation that were like 2 steps from reaping what we sowed). Once you understand that it's all about gaining the experiences with new strategies & mastering them. For example, sometimes we can get into the habit of looking for that 1 tutorial that will take us to the top or get us on playlists. so we spend all day watching countless tutorials. Forgetting the most important thing that will get us even close, ACTION!
My suggestion for THE MBP Family, learn 1 new strategy at a time. Take it from a-z. Implement it and master it. Get a full understanding of how it works then learn another and repeat. what this allows is, it gives us the power to begin & create a release or campaign playbook. This playbook will grow & grow. It'll give us the experience & knowledge of the type of results we get from each one. The knowledge of when a certain strategy is needed or not needed.
As time progress once we've outgrown ouR playbook, it's time to amplify it. Now we can work with marketing companies etc and put bigger bucks or hopefully our playbooks were so good we have opportunities to entertain label offers.
Sorry for the mini-podcast in the comments. Thought id just share this.
