I love workin on my post moves now. Layups and jumpshots are fundamental but posting someone up and finishing with finesse and a soft touch feels so satisfying
his overall game is not as good as his post moves. very often he pass out the ball too late when the double team is coming, could havw set up his teammates for easy shots. not a good team player, most of the time he is just posting up whining for the ball, hardly does pick and roll with his team. his defense is garbage. almost all team target his pick and roll defense . you should really watch live or full game of his. his defense is one of the worse is the league. not a good team player. i would never put him in a team thats contending for title
Post moves are underrated. All the crafty guys of the league, Kobe, Melo, Duncan, both Gasols, Aldridge, (McGary & Kanter now!!), Dirk!, Wade, etc all are masters of the post game. Very Underrated. Oh can't forget Z'BO!!!!
watching these players makes me appreciate just how phenomenal Hakeem Olajuwon was. The king of the post was just leagues above everyone else. Speed, finess, and grace.......its no surprise people still look to him to develop their game. Hakeem "the dream" Olajuwon!
I love this man. The Spurs gave Duncan the ball first and created offense off of that. Most of the time now they dump it off to the big man with like 5 seconds on the clock thus giving him little time to read and react to the defense. I feel like that's one of many of Howard's problems
Post play today isn't dead or inefficient, it's just that very few know how to do it right. You watch the clips and you can see that unlike today's guys, the guys in these clips know how to act and react quickly, read the defense accurately, sound fundamentals. I mean how many guys today do you even see do a proper drop step or baseline spin move?
you see al jefferson holding the ball with one hand before he starts working in the post . i think that he got that from mj just a beauty to see these players working in the post
@Kyle Arcilla Your list of credits is very impressive. It is totally legitimized by the fact that the player listed with the most highlights is the greatest, most prolific post player to ever play the game: Hakeem Olajuwon. Very well done! +Arthur Salazar Oh my goodness dude. you are right. there is no one who has better moves than D-mo. and he's still in early days of his pro career! he is deff the best right now.
They aren’t boring. We’ve just seen so many that it’s lost its allure. I think post play is more entertaining to some because of the amount of effort needed to pull it off. Backing down a defender, pumpfakes, and crazy good footwork.
“I tell ya, with my car it’s always easy for me to find it. It’s always on a lift. I got the only car that has more miles on it vertically than horizontally.”
Nice job! If you want some inspiration for next video: Nene, Shawn Marion, Dwyane Wade, Carlos Boozer, Blake Griffin, LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard
Help please! I'm new to basketball, trying to understand when a contact is or isn't a foul. 4:18 to 4:24 I see two deliberate backward bumps by the offense player. The defender isn't knocked over. Given that the ref allows this, there's no foul (not a charge or a block). And obviously no hands involved. But definitely deliberate aggressive contact. Same at 5:20. So I'm confused... Help me out experts!
Hi, does anyone know how to be better player at the post position? I am already good avarsgkng 15 per game but I want to find better ways to score, any one know? Thanks
Hello dark09aura, please repost your video, "NBA Post Move Highlights HD - Part 1", i really that video and i really like the moves of the players in that video of yours, keep posting of amazing moves in basketball, more power, god bless, keep ballin
I love workin on my post moves now. Layups and jumpshots are fundamental but posting someone up and finishing with finesse and a soft touch feels so satisfying
Conserve energy but very efficient
im a small guard that loves the post lmaoo
So relatable!!
Word, I’m a small dude and I haven’t played bball in awhile.
But when I’m on the court. I’m more focused on mid-range, fadeaways and post moves
Jesus Loves you and wants you to also accept him as your Lord and saviour
Big Al is so underrated! A true old school low post PF/C with amazing post moves.
his overall game is not as good as his post moves.
very often he pass out the ball too late when the double team is coming, could havw set up his teammates for easy shots.
not a good team player, most of the time he is just posting up whining for the ball, hardly does pick and roll with his team. his defense is garbage.
almost all team target his pick and roll defense .
you should really watch live or full game of his. his
defense is one of the worse is the league. not a good team player.
i would never put him in a team thats contending for title
Similar to Embiid
He almost never finishes with his left hand lol.
I could watch post moves for hours. My favorite type of isolation basketball.
And D-mo ;)
artur226100 lol who's that?
Wade? He doesn't even post up
BladeMaster5510 U tripping
***** Can you read bruh? Who said Kyrie
watching these players makes me appreciate just how phenomenal Hakeem Olajuwon was. The king of the post was just leagues above everyone else. Speed, finess, and grace.......its no surprise people still look to him to develop their game. Hakeem "the dream" Olajuwon!
Post moves are 100000000 times better than dunks
Agreed, coming from a center though 😉
post moves are staple of basketball game
dunks are just for fun
+karlo.karlic agreed
+karlo.karlic No, pero casi.
I could watch big Al work in the post all day! Thank you for the vid
+PAN Thought the same, just so smooth and nice with those hooks.
Honestly, these are my favourite kind of highlights.
Pau Gasol is so smooth on post moves. I love it
No one can even equal hakeem "the dream" olajuwon when the topic is low post play ... Suave!!!!
😂super true
I love this man. The Spurs gave Duncan the ball first and created offense off of that. Most of the time now they dump it off to the big man with like 5 seconds on the clock thus giving him little time to read and react to the defense. I feel like that's one of many of Howard's problems
Jesus Christ died for your sins please repentt for the kingdom of heaven is at handd
Pau & Marc are beasts
10:37
That NBA 2k commentary
+revan renaldi ahhaha yeah in 2K16 it is better got greg anthony now!
Haha they have to base it off of something right?
Up high and down hard!
2k20 and nothings changed 💀
@@lostdr34ms63 lmaooo now 21
This video helped me learn some other ways to do post moves.... Im center for my team... Thanks
Same
Damn I miss this kinda basketball...Makes your job so much easier as a guard.
I miss the nba when post moves were more common
8:51 travelling all the way to the moon
My favorite position is power forward despite of my height I love to post up people and battle inside for rebound.
Center does that too
Jesus Christ died for your sins please repentt for the kingdom of heaven is at handd
Imagine Kobe, Chris paul, and the gasol brothers as 4 of your starting 5 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Post play today isn't dead or inefficient, it's just that very few know how to do it right. Mac's post moves to me look the sweetest
Realy👌👌
So fundamentally sound bruh, Timmy D!!!
got to love that post game
Tim Duncan my man 💪💪
you see al jefferson holding the ball with one hand before he starts working in the post .
i think that he got that from mj
just a beauty to see these players working in the post
lol mj got that from the bigs back in the day whose hands also where big af
yes indeed !!
Where's my man Z-bo :(
KOBE COULD HAVE HIS OWN FILM ha ha
you spelt olajuwon wrong
Big Al Jefferson was the truth in the Post!!!
Al Jefferson was underrated in my opinion.
That move by Marc Gasol 10:53
al jefferson moves are so simple. but deadly
The greatest of all times Hakeem the dream Olajuwon come on people He's the only player in NBA History to have a move named after him The Dream Shake.
MJ's post move is my all time favorite. Very beautiful to watch.
Nice playlist,keep em coming
Thanks
This is real basketball!!!!!
Found a Old Head
These has got to be some of the most thrilling, sickest, nasty Firestone moves to witness 🔥
To me tim Duncan is the best center that can post someone up and finish strong
Post moves might be boring at times but it takes a lot more skill to use and it is harder to stop when u have more then 1 move to go too
If you have post moves, you can rule the basketball court.
Imagine having to play a team that has Hakeem and McHale in the post.
Dream Shake... Torture Chamber... Repeat 10x...
Jesus Christ died for your sins please repentt for the kingdom of heaven is at handd
Hakeem the dream videos brought me here, holy crap you think these guys have good post moves/foot work until you see Olajuwons videos.
check out mchale's highlights
Al jefferson so UNDERRATED
BIG TWINKLE TOES AL, he straight nasty wit the footwork and middie, making good defensive centers look like 3rd stringers
word and he has a soft touch
They need to bring this back smh
Tim Duncan, Karl Anthony Towns and Anthony Davis are keeping up the tradition
Ah I would love to play like these guys do but im only 6’4.
watching this gives me a whole new level of respect for 2k16 although there is still some BS in it, it clears a lot
Dream shake is one of the best!
Melo with the post wizadry!! He the best ever in the ISO post game imo
1:11
Duncan doesn’t realize Westbrook is there until after he shot the ball.
who loves post move
1:11 westbrook try everything and tim doesn't even care he's there
@Kyle Arcilla Your list of credits is very impressive. It is totally legitimized by the fact that the player listed with the most highlights is the greatest, most prolific post player to ever play the game: Hakeem Olajuwon. Very well done!
Hakeem Olajuwon
Hakeem Olajuwon Scoring Skills
Hakeem Olajuwon Post
Hakeem Olajuwon Post Moves
Hakeem Olajuwon training session
Dream Shake
Playing that style today would get out of THE NBA ask Okafor who should be on someone team the way he can score the ball
Dmo is the best with it in the NBA
+Arthur Salazar Oh my goodness dude. you are right. there is no one who has better moves than D-mo. and he's still in early days of his pro career! he is deff the best right now.
Who's d-mo?
He is the closest thing to olajuwan in the nba right now. not athletic wise, but post move wise.
What's his name? I don't know who that is lol
Donates Monteunas. I'm not sure if thats how you spell it, but there ya go
Nice video 😊
Now this is basketball
3 pointers are boring
They aren’t boring. We’ve just seen so many that it’s lost its allure. I think post play is more entertaining to some because of the amount of effort needed to pull it off. Backing down a defender, pumpfakes, and crazy good footwork.
Fr
Blame steph😊
How can you forget Dirk!!
JC_boiiiXVII Bc he does the same move
Nice Move!
Tim and Pau has it
I wish you showed young Duncan. Because even though he was still skilled now I don't see advanced footwork like I'd see with an embiid video
David West is the most underrated post scorer I’ve ever watched
Really like your video~~
lol, Dirk? you forgot Dirk?
Timmy D. Best PF ever.
2:20 big fundamental moved his pivot :(
ik i was about to say
Awesome video but how is Dirk not in here?
Tim Duncan will go down as one of the best all time don't get me wrong. However, he has absolutely no left hand
I noticed that too. Like he goes up with the wrong hand alot.
Thanks
Could u make updated version?
What the hell happened to Roy Hibbert…
Dumcan is a awesome Pivot; I'm work in post and is very dificult
prime melo
where's the part1?Dude
“I tell ya, with my car it’s always easy for me to find it. It’s always on a lift. I got the only car that has more miles on it vertically than horizontally.”
Jesus Christ died for your sins please repentt for the kingdom of heaven is at handd
Anyone seen that career break-out game Al Jefferson( Utah Jazz) had against a prime Yao Ming?? Watch it then.
sophomore melo and james match up is always good to watch.
they weren't sophomore in that video, that game is from 2009 or 2010
Just show the Dream and MJ’s highlights and be done with it.
Carmello elbows on every play to get separation
Nice job! If you want some inspiration for next video: Nene, Shawn Marion, Dwyane Wade, Carlos Boozer, Blake Griffin, LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard
Scola was an awesome post player back in Houston
Damn Pau Gasol is smooth 😲
Damn!!!! The list missed DIRK???
tim duncan travels every single time
My dad is making me watch this before my basket ball game when I just want to play monster park
SudsySole891 Xbox gamer Sounds like hes trying to help you. I like him.
This video was like a Oprah episode to the defensive players..You get that work, you get that work, you get that work....
Let’s all appreciate the Duncan travel 2:18
Jesus Christ died for your sins please repentt for the kingdom of heaven is at handd

Also why is 7:56 not a travel? Isn't that 3 steps after the catch?
8:50 Roy Hilbert did the 3 second on the paint
The big fundamental a god in the post
And nowadays nba players only know to shoot 3 pt ....
Jesus Loves you and wants you to accept him as your Lord and saviour
4:25 wade didn't want all that body. it wears on you throughout a game, all that contact
Any chance of a reupload for part I?
+Ray Chou Nope tried two times, Sorry...
+dark09aura no worries thanks for the awesome content!
Tim duncan and Al Jefferson is the best in the post.
how many times did al finish with his left? 0
Hi, does anyone know how to be better player at the post position? I am already good avarsgkng 15 per game but I want to find better ways to score, any one know? Thanks
Who else skipped Roy Hibberts part? Lol
😂
+Julius Del Rosario holy crap, you read my mind.
+Julius Del Rosario idk why you would do that, he's actually alright in the post
Roy was actually really good, idk what happened to him. Watch his highlights. Its so sad to see him play now.
Julius Del Rosario If you skipped Roy Hibberts part, ignorant. There was a reason for him being on this video. Dude looks bad now, but not back then.
Hello dark09aura, please repost your video, "NBA Post Move Highlights HD - Part 1", i really that video and i really like the moves of the players in that video of yours, keep posting of amazing moves in basketball, more power, god bless, keep ballin
Boi Roy Hibbert was a dawg. I wonder what happened. That no points no rebounds game crushed him.
