Basildon: Vange, Barstable East

Continuing on the sunny but breezy scoot, we head North of London Road and into one of the newer estates which is built on the slopes and scrublands leading to the Golf Course which leads to a dead end due to stairs, so we have to back-track a bit and find a lower, alternative route before emerging on the old A13 London Road once again.
Heading North takes us through the poorly designed warren like estate complete with dead ends, stairs and losing all sense of directions before emerging near the site of The Bull pub before continuing North to Stacey's Corner and the side of Mopsies Park in Barstable East before completing the scoot by crossing the footbridge over Broadmyane and concluding just inside Fryerns.
