@@plantman4214 that's because it starts playing once you use a rune to bring out his weak point gauge, so the music actually IS syncing with the player's attacks in a way.
Because it's fast like most themes in this game, if a song is very fast it has a much higher chance that a note syncs with the gameplay. It tries to give you an satisfaction feeling if you start slashing your way through the opponents, which more games should do.
