I am huge fan of snoopy. I'm 55 and still have my stuffed snoopy dog I got in 4th grade. I remember watching this and I was bitter. My parents asked me what's the matter? I'm like...snoopy destroyed the house and now Woodstock is back in his nest in the cold rain! Then I was mad at the writers of this episode. :)
This warmed my heart. I had all of the Peanuts holiday specials on VHS when I was little and they were the first thing I ever remember watching. Coming back to these old scenes always takes me right back to those early days

Honestly I think it was messed up and wrong that snoopy acted this way. I hope Woodstock forgives Snoopy and keeps their friendship intact, but strives to hold him accountable and make him a better person going forward.

To this day I'm still confused on what Snoopy was trying to do here. I guess he was jealous about Woodstock's new pad and wanted to join him, in spite of it being obvious he wouldn't fit? I mean, I know Snoopy lives in his own little world, but come on! Also, you think he would've made his own pad already in his doghouse.
Woodstock is a real modern bird. His bachelor pad was totally swinging before Snoopy literally stuck his nose where it didn't belong.
