My DIY Non Lethal Mouse Trap

- I found mice in my garage and wanted them out. I built this trap really quick so i could transport them away. It uses a wire coat hanger, a water bottle, two buckets and a strainer. Peanut butter was used as bait. I caught two mice overnight.
I had previously used only a single 5 gallon bucket but the mice jumped out. With the funnel shaped strainer and additional bucket, it would be near impossible for the mice to jump out. - Наука та технологія
The double high bucket isn't necessary. If you don't want to drown them, then you can use less water. Using a small amount of water will prevent them from jumping out. Also you could use oil, and it will make then slip when they try to jump out.
Ah I didn't think of that, thats a good idea. I'll try that if I find evidence of mice again. Thanks for the comment!
THANKYOU
I agree with Snack Pack; overkill. Now, if you have a dozen or more, that is great, as it can accommodate a bunch of them!
If they can jump back out then the green things not worth much
They could easily jump out if they get caught on the level
Yea I think you're right now that I think about it, the colander should not have any holes for the mouse to grip on. Luckily I haven't had to use this more than once.
So idk if I have mice. I have little poops and i tried peanut butter and sunflower seeds and nothing fell in the bucket, or ate the pb... Everything was good for a whole week. :( idk if its mice anymore. :/
Might try that one as well. More than one gets them curious. If the first one doesn't get 'em, the next one will.
Very clever, and humane of you!
