Can anyone here tell me why Jason isn’t at 1 million plus subs yet???!!!! Always a pleasure to watch these videos. And one of only maybe 2 channels I re watch videos over and over again from.
@@augustwest8559 I am a woodworker and a carpenter. But I’m not a content creator. And as for his below average woodworking… this isn’t fine Japanese wood joinery with high end lumber… it’s Canadian pallets and roadside furniture. Quite impressive work with that material and Jason obviously enjoys what he does and it shows. And that’s the point of woodworking. To take enjoyment out of making something from nothing. Opinions aside Jason continues to hit that mark every time
At 18:47 my jaw hit the floor. Told me everything I needed to know about your skill set. Absolutely incredible. New subscription here. Thank-you for sharing your work.
Another amazing build I love that you mainly use old none mechanical tools. There's something about old carpentry tools especially your selection of planes the wooden ones are my favourite I'm not sure what you call them. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work it helps me out mentally ❤
First time viewer. I love your work. I watch Mack at Midwest Magic Cleaning, and he recommended you. Very pleased especially as you have used some of the same tools in my Father's tool box ( the screwdriver tool). I have used that myself from time to time.
I wake up and watch woodworking videos before I absolutely must get out of bed. But wait. I need my coffee for this one. I just love your work. What a great start to my Friday.
Beautiful work Jason! I hope to hell my wife doesn't see it. She makes quilts and already has taken over 2 rooms and a hallway. That really is a lovely piece, sir. Be proud.
Between your workshop and your wife's sewing room, sheesh man you got some great pieces in those two rooms. I can only imagine what the rest of your home looks like.
Well done with more fine woodcrafting. My favourite part is the shaping and the design and detail of the edges of the piece highlights the overall view of it.
Half way though I was realizing that used to be a bed 😮.. So much skill and effort goes into this and also making awesome videos to follow! Thanks for showing what a bit of effort can make! Great job!
How about a video showing your planning for a project? For example, drawings, lists, height, width, depth, joints, spacing, wood thickness, software use or manual, decorative elements, handles, colors and so on. Which parameters do you set beforehand, which during the project? What changes are there in the course of the work? A video like this could be created on the side while working on a project or two, and I'm sure many of your regular viewers would enjoy it.
*Thumbs up, coffee is made, I can start watching.* *Best regards, I wish you a nice weekend and week* edited after viewing: *It looks beautiful, and these finishing details do the job* 👏🤩
Your videos are my favorites on UA-cam! Thanks for the "quick turnaround." I think my favorite parts of your builds have become your trim work and hand tool work. Have you considered making more of your how-to short videos such as how you sharpen your v tool, gouges, plough plane cutters, etc.? Keep 'em coming, Sir!
When I got the note, it told me that you had produced another video, I made sure I had about 40 minutes where no one was going to bother me. Sat down with a nice cup of Earl Gray and watched your video. All the little detail work you did on this piece, just makes it that much more beautiful. Thank you for letting us peek in and watch you work. Kathy.
The absolute beauty of this work is in how he goes about his business. Sheer class and skill. Thank you so much for your postings. Long may they continue.
You, Sir, are amazing. Just to watch your patience with your own work - watching you adding such nice details is a treat for the eyes! And the quality of your videos must be praised as well! Nice angles, perfect sound and stunning optics. I enjoy every single moment!
I wish I could send you some scrap wood and get it back as a beautiful furniture! Having one of your artwork my house is a dream come true. Unfortunately, I don't have the money, I enjoy every video of yours instead!
All pallets in the vicinity of your workshop must have been used up by now? Then just an old rickety cupboard from the attic and the result is absolutely fantastic again.
I love looking around your workshop and see every piece you’ve built - and I’ve watched you make every one. I absolutely love this build, so much beautiful detail 🇺🇸 ❤ 🇺🇦
Rite Epic Dude n Mrs Epic too, Your cadence never ceases to impress me! My neighbour gave me a bed just like this one, some good wood and fun taking it to bits or should I say smashing it to bits! Say safe n well Jason and Mrs Epic. TFS, GB :)
I can also do wooden things.i made a small table ... out of a bigger table .I know what you're thinking I cut the legs off yes I did cut the legs off and I'd have done other things but it looked finished !!!! Bloody smart Alec 😊
Mrs Epic is a very luck lady. That's a great looking unit as it stands without the upper part. I enjoy watching your channel because you really take the task of "up-cycling" very seriously. If you ask most people what the term means it would probably include some form of decorative painting or the application of fancy decoupage effects. You, somehow, manage to imagine that old piece of furniture as something completely different and get on with it. Long may this continue. Thank you for sharing
It really is a real pleasure to see you work. You can see the care you put into it when you make these pieces of furniture and finish them with those beautiful shapes. Congratulations and thank you very much for sharing.
Fantastic! Would be extra cute with doors and glass in the doors. I live in a very dusty state, so doors are a big deal to keep dust off your craft supplies! Keep up the great work! She will be thrilled to have it!
Hi Jason another brilliant video. Gonna hit the thanks button. Just got back went through a hurricane in the Atlantic and a mega storm later it was great. Look forward to part 2. Take care. Tom.
I lost the use of my left arm in November 2021 and for the whole of 2022. This was part way through working on improving my home. Now I am getting the use of that arm back and watching you is inspiring me a lot. As soon as I get enough use of the left arm I will be restarting that home improvement work, taking some of my ideas from your videos. Using old scrap wood is a great way to get cheap or free materials and I will do a better job of some things after seeing how you work. Thanks for the inspiration.
Good afternoon, I always look forward to your projects - your work is inspiring, simple and at the same time extraordinary!!! Thank you, I look forward to new works!!! Like!!!
Using a piece of paper to mark a line on a curve surface is truly an amazing idea... I will remember! As always, your art is a mastercraft. Thank you for sharing with us!
I so enjoy how you create the moldings and edge details to your projects Jason. Found it fascinating how your created the very symmetrical half round with a flat plane @¿@ and then subsequently the molding planes...a treat, both ways! I do Think Mrs. Epic will be thrilled as I'm pretty sure the top will be much more customized for her needs. L@@king forward to Pt2. Thanks always Jason, for your inspiration and saving the old bits from previous lives!! Hat Tip! ~PJ
I always enjoy the videos you release Jason, they're relaxing and thought provoking at the same time. The effort in creating these marvelous pieces of furniture and producing the video for the rest of us to enjoy, is very much appreciated!
*Wonderful!* It's an absolute pleasure to watch a real craftsman with such excellent skills, talent and patience! Everything you make would be right at home in any *palace*, let alone a home! Keep up the great work!
I love the fact that you have started using more hand tools in your projects, as always great job and look forward to the next one and thanks for sharing!!!
Can anyone here tell me why Jason isn’t at 1 million plus subs yet???!!!! Always a pleasure to watch these videos. And one of only maybe 2 channels I re watch videos over and over again from.
So true I got a big TV and re~watched all episodes.
Up to us to make that happen so let's crack on with passing the word.
It's because of UA-cam's algorithm.
The video has 91k views and only 6k likes.
People, give it a like, it doesn't cost anything!
Your obviously not a woodworker.
Jason is a good content creator and a below average woodworker.
What I see in the videos

Mrs. Epic should do sewing content, I've seen a lot of thing for her and now I'm curious on what she does lol
So refreshing to see a channel focusing on techniques and not tools. Keep up the great work👍
It amazes me how beautiful your craftsmanship ALWAYS is! You are a very talented person. Thanks for sharing with us, Jason.
Thanks very much :)
Finally someone has shown us, how to use hand tools properly! No power tools what so ever! Other than the table saw that's is! Brilliant!!!
another brilliant piece of work Jason, and I love the way you title it as Simple, wonderfull!
Thanks very much :)
You do awesome work and watching you is very relaxing 👍🙏🏻
Thanks very much :)

Speaking as a lady with a sewing room I would be over the moon with this piece and have it filled with all my fabrics. Can’t wait for part two! ❤
Me too.
Another amazing build I love that you mainly use old none mechanical tools.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful work it helps me out mentally ❤
Thanks Peter.
The wooden planes are known as moulding planes.
Another gorgeous piece. You always do such wonderful work. Well done and take care.
Thanks very much :)
I love the little details (the carving on the shelf fronts!!) - they make this a really special piece!

Well done, Mate!
I was thinking that if he lived in my cuty, I'd pay him to build several pieces of furniture. I love his work. 😊
Just watched the top half....perfect for many needs in a craft room. Or children's room. Thank you!
Beautiful work Jason! I hope to hell my wife doesn't see it. She makes quilts and already has taken over 2 rooms and a hallway. That really is a lovely piece, sir. Be proud.
Thanks very much, Nik :)
Get yer butt in gear nik.
😂😂😂 So do I. I get what you're saying though lol
I’ve said it before but it bears repeating, you sir are neither a carpenter nor woodworker - you are an artist!
Was referred to your channel by Mack at Midwest Magic Cleaning. Grateful to him. I like what I have seen so far.
I just wonder if Mrs Epic is aware of how lucky she is to be married to a man able to rustle up such a marvel out of scrap wood...
Another beautiful piece!! Great work!
Thanks :)

Masterpiece
You are a great craftsman.
Taking discarded wood and giving it another life.
Thanks for sharing.
Yep, going into zen-mode watching you do your magic! ❤❤❤
Top stuff! Saving this for my Saturday morning tea and toast ... inspirational 👍
Another video so quickly?! This is a pleasant surprise. Well done as usual.
Thanks Richard :)
This is amazing. You turn what many would consider “junk” wood and transform it into beautiful furniture. I love the carving details.
Thanks Shirley :)
Un están precioso para la ropa en la habitación de los niños. 👏✌️👍
Great project made from an old bed frame. Well done. Again. Paul 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks very much, Paul :)

Everything you do keeps me in awe. Another masterpiece cannot wait for part two to see the whole unit finished. Without a doubt, it will be amazing.
Looking forward to part 2 amazing what you're able to produce from scrap lumber
Another work of art Mr Epic. You truly are a great craftsman to observe. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks :)
So love that little wave at the end 👋🏻👋🏻
Thanx for showing, have a great week end,
Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Wow. I love the finished edges of the shelves. So beautiful.
love the use of the square to quickly space the nails for the boards 9:00
Genius table hack for gluing 👍
That turned out beautiful. You are an artist in your trade.
Thanks Ivan :)

The most amazing thing is that you don't use 250k worth of high end industrial tools to make a wooden box. It gives hope to the average joe
I wish I could send you some scrap wood and get it back as a beautiful furniture! Having one of your artwork my house is a dream come true. Unfortunately, I don't have the money, I enjoy every video of yours instead!
Nicely made nice!! Thanks! Niek.
Thanks very much, Niek :)
As always., absolutely inspiring. Thanks for another great upload.
As a woodworker AND someone who sews, I LOVE this idea! Combining my favorite two hobbies...yes please! Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks very much :)
Your craftsmanship is so above and beyond!! And I love it!!
This is the only channel I’ve ever seen the number of views and the comments change while I’m watching the video.
My wife would love that! Excellent video. Thanks for being so consistently great!
All pallets in the vicinity of your workshop must have been used up by now?
Then just an old rickety cupboard from the attic and the result is absolutely fantastic again.
Another great example of your skill. Well done.
LOVE it!! Amazing workmanship! So much better use of old furniture than just sending it to the dump.
it's amazing how much gets thrown away. I'm lucky, everyone I know has realised I'm closer than the dump :)
A 'Yankee', haven't seen one of those in a while! Great job as always.
Thanks very much :)
I absolutely love the carvings!
Wow, just wow! 👍🏼 You are the master of wood 💪🏼💪🏼
Another awesome piece of art!
