I'm absolutely, positively not a pocket hole guy, but it's a successful method of work for you. I appreciate the considerations for wood movement and the completeness of design detail that you started with. Congrats on the hybrid methods used and the practical collection of tools and jigs you've accumulated.
looks great. there aren’t any issues with the bar top only being supported by the 3/4 ply ? i’m planning to make a bar for my basement (never did any major woodworking before) and i’m trying to decide between if below the bar top needs a stronger frame i.e 2x4 or 2x6 and not just sitting on the plywood outer walls
Its on the plywood and Hardwood paneling. The top was in a very stable spot before fastening down so I am fairly confident that would not be an issue. I referenced a premium bar model I found online and they were using particle board.

What will be the approx cost to build this DIY bar ? Just to get an idea.
I had about $800-1,000 CAD in material/finish into this project.
Red oak plywood was expensive but red oak lumber is one of the cheapest in my area.
Where did you get the bar rail, I cannot find it anywhere.
Do you have plans (dimensions) for the bar?
I don't have plans, but I can get the dimensions off the sketchup model. Shoot me an email, klassenwoodworking@hotmail.com
