Great job!
Congrats on the new world record!!! And yes, tight lines are harder. They're the only kind I used to walk when I was slacklining. It makes the accomplishment even more impressive!
Changing the tension of a line while walking it should be clearly called out as Cheating.
It actually makes it more difficult, the walker has to be very carefull while the tension is changing and the body has to adapt to these changes.
Did you also place this comment on the 600m plus Longline Records by Alex Schulz four years ago and Joshua Leupolz a week ago?
On a sidenote: The tension changes while you walk a normal slackline without using the pulley brake to keep a athlete safe.
You have more tension in the middle and less near the anchors. Further, If you walk back and forth on a longline the tension drop is significant compared to when you started walking at a defined point. But this is something you only know IF YOU ACTUALLY GO OUT AND LONGLINE.
@@slackattackslacklinecrew2826 would have placed it if it would have been known that you are retensioning the lines while the walks and then call it "World Record".
It is the first time that i read something like lines getting retensioned while walks for setting records, it actually makes no sense and puts down the real world records which was done without this method of cheating and with the simple setup of "This is the line go out and walk it".
If a single person sets a world record the only thing on which this record depends should be the person who walks it, not several other people who act like Support Wheels while the walk.
@@cihancalis4591 I think the slack attack crew should not get so triggered by this comment.
On the other hand, finding the right terrain for such lunes can obviously be very hard. If adjusting the tension is not allowed for it to be a real world record, fewer people will be able to compete since the right terrain is needed.
Maybe there should be two categories, static and dynamic tension. But I think adjusting the tension still counts as a wr!
