I don't even have words. How does this come out of your brain and you perform it in real time so flawlessly? It's like you have an infinite unique idea generator in your mind and then a perfect interface from there to your hands that allow you to play it exactly as you think it. And then it comes out sounding like an absolute work of art, it's seriously like magic. Pls tell me your ways

I believe years and years of practice, 🐱 he is so talented! It amazes me how well he sight reads when playing!

@@merrykatt I also think he's just a super creative and passionate dude. Weather you call that talent or not is up to you. I just think it's cool to watch the result of that after many many years of experience.

I really wish my hands were as talented as yours. My brain frequently thinks of things that I can only sing and wish I could just play or write, but I'm years away from half of your skill. Amazing.

When you improvise, are your decisions aided by a knowledge of music theory to know what the next notes will sound like or is it more of an instinctual knowledge gained from experience on the piano knowing what your next notes will sound like? I am a pianist and often like to improvise, but I seem to lean on chords that I either already know how they will sound or simply that it should sound good. Answering my own question, I would say that my theoretical knowledge isn't sufficient to keep up with live improvisation beyond knowing what key I'm in. My improvisation comes from learned patterns I enjoy rather than any spontaneous creative action, but sometimes I surprise myself. I really enjoyed listening, thank you for posting!

I wonder the same, but have no talent to attempt it. I only wish I could play half as well.

This is a really cool concept! By which i mean making a series out of short improvs of which I'm sure we all partake in from time to time.
Though my ability is no where near this

Such a beautiful improvisation 😭 it’s so light and warm with a touch of bittersweet ☺️ and Jazz xD I was just practicing sadness and sorrow from Naruto and listening to this afterwards almost made me cry xD
Also, I used to listen to your epic nerdy medleys nonstop in middle school, and this year, I randomly decided to watch naruto because I became an art teacher and some of my students really liked it. Then I heard sadness and sorrow in the background without knowing what I knew it from, and I started to cry because it felt so nostalgic and sad. Then I realized I picked up on it from you playing it in at least one if not two of the medleys 😂 so I just sat down and played it by ear. And then I watched this. And I just had a panic attack this morning but now I’m smiling and I felt like I should tell you that I’m glad you’ve been releasing videos all these years. Out of the hundreds of piano players I’ve listened to, both professionals in concerts and videos on UA-cam, you are by far my favorite. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for releasing videos in a place where the public can view them :D I’ll continue watching them for as long as they exist xD
