@@Akira-o7tNah, men's clothes have much better fabric and they're actually cheaper... Not to mention they cover more. And men's skincare products are much better than women's, we still have a bunch of products containing ethanol. So I started buying men's stuff, even the razor. For clothes, I'd simply get them altered for $0,3 instead of paying $10 more for worse fabric with a tacky design.

I'm a mom. The first 3 years I struggled. I was 180lb before pregnancy. Ended up at 225lb by the end which was fine. Until after I gave birth. And it had been 6 months and I wasn't losing weight. I was only gaining. My highest was at 250. Turns out my thyroid had slowed down and it makes it insanely hard to lose weight. Got medication for it.. and started losing. Within a year and a half I had finally dropped the 80lbs. But the whole time I had my family telling me I still looked "puffy" and my face/chin was always looking bigger and with the postpartum and all the shit my family kept saying and asking like why I was still so big was killing me. Ended up making the postpartum depression so much worse and I ended up on several medications at very high strengths. I was taking a minimum of 8 different pills a day. STOP TELLING MOMS THEY NEED TO LOSE THE BABY WEIGHT!!!!!! be fucking supportive sometimes there's other shit medically imbalanced that makes Weight loss nearly impossible. Or yknow they're busy taking care of the fricken little human being they just destroyed their body in order to bring into this world! All those months are havoc on your body and after birth it doesn't just magically all go away and get better! Keep your mouth shut if you're going to shame them for baby weight. You have no idea what is going on mentally or physically and have no room to say a fricken word to them. And have no idea the amount of harm your little comments might do

Many men are looked down upon from some women because they believe that they are simply trying to hook up with them for fun. I’m not disagreeing with your comment entirely, because there are certainly some phrases used on women in which they shouldn’t be. Its really hard livin in this society with all these double standards stereotypes etc especially i live in a rural area so ive heard a lot of SLUT SHAMING BODY SHAMING hooo the list goes on. My relatives have literally asked me to loose weight, not to wear tight clothes, dont wear gold, etc. They even said that i was trying to ATTRACT the boys and mind that i heard all these and they said all of these when i literally JUST 13😑😑. I was always skinny and never imagined i would gain weight and that happened during covid when i literally couldnt even step out of my door. I was already being insecure and was having a hard time(depression). Also was homesick bcz i left MY home country to come to india which is my PARENTS home country. And yeah in short i had a REALLY tough time and these people just made it even worse JUST bcz im a girl😪

I mean, any boy is lying by saying they don't want a "sexy" girl/ woman. Same with women wanting 6+ feet tall men. There is nothing wrong with that. Coming from a skinny boy who knows fat boys. I've been called called out for being skinny, mainly by other boys, but even a girl before. It's not anything that's gonna make me cry, but the same thing happens with fat peoples, as you probably know. Girls are judged more serverly (most girls will lie about your body being beautiful) because they have a beauty standard, mainly fat girls are judged more serverly. Boy's do not have a beauty standard above their heads, Boy's weren't made to look extremely attractive naturally. (obviously, there are a lot of boys who are very attractive) regarding boy's showing their shoulders and girl's showing their shoulders. Me personally, I'd say it depends where you are for girls. You should be allowed to show you're shoulders but the only reasoning I could see as to why to not show them is, Boy's having less mature minds then girls. Aswell as possibly being distracted by it. For boy's, no one really cares about his shoulders. (espcially in school when they arent as big as they can be)

  • @audreydoyle5268

Honestly, one double standard I despised in HS was the bullying you got for not shaving as a "girl". I'm non-binary, so I found it strange back then (and still now, but I understand the reason) that boys didn't have to shave, but girls "did" for "hygiene".
Turns out I found it to be a double standard because I didn't like the idea of people knowing what my genitals were based off my outward appearance. My body, fine, that I don't care to alter, but the clothes I wore and way I cut my hair? Why do we have to dress and groom ourselves up to the point where people can easily categorise us based on private parts. Shouldn't the shape of a person's body be enough? And if not, so what, unless you're interested in them romantically and s*xually, it's none of your business what they've got.

I always felt bad for the girls because their never allowed for that. Say, if they had an undershirt or something that does cover their torso(LIKE AN UNDERSHIRT) then there should be no issue, right?
