I remember when I was like 8, my dad showed me a video of Quinn, playing alongside Buddy Guy, holding his own and then some, the fact that he’s only 2 years older than I am is bewildering.
Now that is what I call music, real music! Great voice, passion, one guitar, no pedals, one valve amp and conviction, real conviction. Rock n roll lives. Thanku Quinn, best wishes for a bright future. Carry that torch with pride.
Check him out on Daryl's House video on UA-cam it's about an hour. The guy is phenomenal. Way to go Quinn can't wait see what the future has in store for you. I'm a fan.
@@PaulMcCaffreyfmac I must say, I kinda like the sound. But no one ever Seems to talk about room reverb settings on pedals. I have that option on my Creamer reverb. But who uses it? And for what? In what scenario is it appropriate?
@@hammill444 I've only ever used room reverb mixing down demos to stereo and then simply and specifically to make everything sound like it was happening.....well, in a room. It seems to me that all reverbs are production things and spring is a playing thing. That has pretty much become the truth and is hard to break away from successfully
@@PaulMcCaffreyfmac interesting. So you figure the room setting on pedals is by and large a feature for perhaps studio use? I do like the sound---- but I guess no one uses it to play in live situations.
@@hammill444 To be honest I don't know. I've never owned a reverb pedal and recorded using an Alesis Midiverb II. I speak from the point of view of someone who likes the very minimum of reverb from the amp when I play. Just enough to take the edge off so to speak. There are lots of players who adore reverb and want to explore the possibilities and I guess that once you have manufactured a reverb pedal it is relatively easy to put in variations for folk to try. It caught my ear here because the reverb from the amp sounded so weird and un-spring like and not very 'Fendery' I suppose. I would never dream of telling anyone not to use a reverb that they like the sound of and that makes them want to play. Go for it say I :-)
Sweet! I love that little “I’ve Got A Feeling” lick thrown in there. That was tastefully done.
The 6 people that gave this a thumbs down should just stop listening to music all together.
Ha!! Yes!!
This young man is the real deal. When he sings, it does not make me cringe 🙂

One man sounding like a whole band! Perfect voice, guitar work and tempo.
He's a Rockstar man!!!
Love that warm woody tone a 335 does
I like this guy, I expect we should see a lot more of him in the future!
I bet he puts on a great show. Great voice and makes the guitar sing.
Great chops. Guitar sounded killer as well.
You guys have a knack for showcasing the best musicians I have never heard of...and guitars I desire.
The kid has been jamming onstage with Buddy Guy since he was 7 or so. He's a polished musician and a badass guitar player in his own right...🤟😎
I love this guy..
This young man's playing AND singing are awesome!!!
Keep up the good work!
Wow. That isn't in need for the noise of a whole band. Just an old lady and a young boy are filling all spaces. So great.
Good to see and hear this! Very Nice
I don't usually comment but this was excellent!
Wow, this is great.
Cuanto talento tiene Quinn, es un genio
I've got a feelin, a feelin deep inside
What an awesome double threat.
triple ????
Bravo
Love these videos. Keep em coming!
🥃 Kool tune

song reminded me of "i've got a feeling" by that one hit wonder from liverpool
great player though
niice !
Awesome and for the dislikes FU 👍🔥🎸🦅
Which amp is that?
that lefty Strat though
The reverb sounds like room reverb
You read my mind....though the amp could hardly be closer miced. It's a very odd, un-springy sound
