The panzer werfer 42 used to be like this. Think is that the trajectory for rockets is more “varied” for lack of better term, when compared a cannon. Its kinda hard to explain I think, It’s very noticeable on something like the Sturmtiger, the marks are accurate when your shooting at something that’s at an even elevation but if you shoot at something above or below you it will be quite off because of how the well the rocket has accelerated as they start of very slow and length of time the rocket motor propels is short. That being said the marks give a big help in initially acquiring the right elevation and with practice you’d have a pretty good sense of the trajectory in certain circumstances.

I will never understand why gaijin can’t just put a sight that’s not for guided missiles on rocket vehicles. I can count on one hand the amount of times it’s happened, which isn’t a lot but it’s frustrating that it’s happened more than once

они уже, тундра и так в плачевном состоянии находится , многие либо играют через боль либо впринципе не играют из-за пох*изма разработчиков , я это все к чему, что разработчики понемногу вводят все эти машины что бы в будущем ввести механику артилерии(не вангую , просто так считаю) P.S механика арты и вовсе не нужна когда есть дрон :/ . k2 krabiwe уже так делал и очень даже успешно

Most likely, people will use it to shoot at the type of artillery. If they give normal sights, it will be possible to literally bombard the enemy with a hail of 50kg bombs. Although yes, this technique is strange. She should not fight in the front ranks at all. These things were used as a mobile arteleria to cover huge areas and not to shoot direct fire at tanks.
Kinda pointless to add this to the game. Just like Katyusha, this was designed as an artillery - its missiles have a range of 6 kilometers. So it would sit a couple kilometers behind a screen of armor, and just pummel enemy positions, taking out materiel before the tanks and infantry swoop in to clean out enemy troops.
Wow this is kinda useless xD It was supposed to be used for bombarding static defenses and trench lines, not taking out armor lmao. You might be able to get a lucky hit on a Tank Destroyer with an open top or take out a few SPAA's but its useless against anything heavier. And thats assuming they stand still and let you lob missiles at them for a few minutes!

id argue the KV2 is fun and usefull. bit of a soft spot below the canon but thats fine. the störmtiger however is an acquired taste. saying that though, i have acquired the taste and 6.0 has been my main kraut lineup ever since

Just for hype. Lot of people will just see 300mm rockets on some truck and they will want it. And guess what, it will be most likely some challenge that requires 50k of points per day(just my guess, not actual info) . So a lot of them will be "forced" to buy it for GE
@@danny0487 I remember grinding the IS-2 last year since I had a little bit of free time in that period. Honestly it took me less than expected. If you're good enough and with some blessing by the matchmaker you can reliably get 3-5k games. It might require 2-3 hours of playing per day but it's achiavable if you're committed and/or lucky. Anyway if you can't just don't feel sorry. It's all free stuff afterall and it's supposed to be funny, it's a game. They want you to think you're missing on something to milk money as this is how their industry survives, but you actually don't need any of that funcy stuff. The most fun games I get are rampages in the PZ IV F2, bullshitting with the puma squad, turnfighting with the zeros and so on. The shiny things are a possibility but I've heard so many players get frustrated bc they don't have the time to get them. You don't need them. I've missed out so much stuff in these years and my only 'regret' is not getting the PO-2 and the Coelian while they were still researchable. I got the PO2M eventually with the gjc made form the last event, I've used it twice and that's it.
Like a lot of vehicles. Why would you want a maus, katyusha, or calliope, when there's better options in the regular tech tree? Because big tank or missiles looks fun. I mean people pay a fortune to put camouflage on their tanks with bushes that cost 500 GE why wouldn't they buy a rocket launcher milk truck
