Boise is gonna keep rising in the AP poll, but to Tom’s point, their schedule is gonna hold them back in the eyes of the committee. Regardless, they’ll still have a spot and a chance to do some damage. I miss the Boise State BCS era

As an OSU fan I agree. Both have incredible talent and both have big games this week and down the road. Good luck to the Longhorns - maybe both teams meet in the CFP for an incredible game.

The Ohio State game against Oregon confuses me the most out of any regular season game. It is the only game preseason I could not figure out in any capacity. Oregon plays terribly but scratches out wins and Ohio State is just fucking super good. But ego should be the enemy.
Look, Arch is probably going wreck everyone and everything in a year or two… but right now he is a freshman backup. It’s not like Texas was rolling with their A game the last 2 games. Because Arch is so young, he really limits the offense right now.

Texas is the only team to schedule the best non conference opponents and get faulted for it (for valid or non valid reasons) every year even tho they win/look better. Cant wait to see what happens next year when Texas plays Ohio state. Everyone be scheduling Cupcakes while Texas always scheleudes a top / big team in non con.

Strength of schedule is a myth. Only applys to the sec.
Texas seems to get faulted for SOS when Oregon is being glazed. Last year Oregon was ranked over Texas the entire year eventho Texas had a better win, more ranked wins, a higher SOS, and not to mention the lopsided win over a common opponent who Oregon had a lucky play to win them the game.
