I really love how, if this were to be a real weapon, it would actually work, mainly because the blades, being the blue parts, would fly into the wind and target, while the spinning part has the blunt parts that move to collect the blades together, so if you were to throw it with the blades spinning forward, it would actually stay folded out, maybe even collapsing to cut into the target more as well!!

As someone that's gotten into smithing a while ago with my dad and has experience making wacky weapons like this for fun I'd say It would probably fly decently and if properly sharpened and made of proper material would cut well enough however when it comes to practicality unless you trust your luck way more than you should or want to cut yourself using it as a melee weapon it's probably more reliable to punch someone I'm not a professional tho it's just a hobby so take my words with a grain of salt
I really want someone to make a much sharper, metal version of this. I can't be the only who thinks it would be sick to just spin your shuriken into action.
