Coming through 20 years of addiction, man I felt that line about, if it wasn't for my failures and mistakes, I'd never known the depths of His grace! Praise His name, He called me out of darkness and into His marvelous light! I'm coming up on 4 years clean, teaching Sunday school at my church, leading Celebrate Recovery as well. I'm so indebted to Jesus, yet so free in His grace! Hallelujah for the love of God!

God has given me the strength that I needed after losing my Mother in Jan. 2007, my 29 year old Son in Aug. 2007 and my only Sister in Sept. 2007. For 16 years when I thought no one was there God was - even when I took ill in 2009 with Doctors taking me out of a corporate career and on to Social Security Disability. When I thought I wouldn't make it for the funding I needed to survive God always had a plan. My faith is strong and God is always my refuge through it all. I Praise him for loving me enough to stand next to me for so long.

Darkest time of my life, after years of abuse and holding on out of defiance towards my abuser. Almost free and the devil threw one last snare, losing my abuser came with a cost, a heavy cost. I wake up everyday with hope in my heart, and jokes in the devil bc in the end, God wins, it brought me back and closer to God than ever. This song I can't help but sing and helps renew and strengthen my heart within my faith. God is good and so are his messengers. I won't back down, and I'm not afraid, because God is with me. 🙏
