Kejriwal is contesting only 22 seats in total. He is certainly more apt than Rahul Gandhi and is the pioneer of "shoot and scoot" politics. He has certainly overshadowed Rahul in terms of Media impressions post his release, but AAP simply lacks the geographical reach to take a shot at the BJP. All his Googlies and reverse swings are nice, but he is not playing in the top leagues.
Kejriwal is playing local gully cricket where you run and hide on breaking window panes. BJP is playing ICC test matches.

I had great hope for AAP when it started.... now I dislike Kejriwal who is so clingly about power and very insecure. He is not building any organization, rather just for himself. The answer is rather simple. Modi is contesting the election as a prime ministerial face. If public elects "him" for a third term, he is only answerable to the public. The term is of "five years" . He cannot and should not quit, midway due to any internal party norm or regulation. It is a five year commitment from his side as well. If the opposition comes in power, nobody has any such commitment to the public as there is no prime ministerial face.

Kejriwal's questions have come handy to DK and ThePrint, who had earlier too raised issue of 75 years and succession plans. The unhyphenated journalism hates Modi but can't spell it for fear of losing viewership. Modi had indicated his intention to continue as long as possible. You want to why eased out Advani etc. Which politician wants bone in the neck when he can simply throw it away. Name any other person in the history who nurtures a rival in his own team? Modi is not a Sadhu. He knows his politics. BJP brought him up even while astute leaders like Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Nitin Gadkari etc were around. Leave it to the cadre of BJP to bring a right person when Modi hangs up his boots. It is neither for Kejriwal nor his mentors in media like Shrkhar Gupta to worry about.
