Outstanding video! We still operate two SORMZ, one 1984 and another 1986 for 4 color jobs as well as simpler jobs for flexible packaging. However ours didn't come with either quick plate nor alcohol, I wish to convert them to alcohol printing. Any ideas?
Fast forward to the present day, 2022, ten years ago Heidelberg sold us a ten color perfector with dual coaters, with aq/uv capabilities straight uv ink. It was the first install on the west coast. When it ran it was impressive but unfortunately it was way over engineered, too many bugs. For an example the water pan sensors were not reliable and made of plastic, 900.00 US dollars for one. And if they went bad you can’t jump them and your 9 million dollar press won’t run. I could go on but I won’t. I know you’re thinking this guy’s nuts. what’s nuts is that I miss Heidelberg’s 😂
Sou apaixonado pelas Heidelberg ❤️❤️❤️❤️ com certeza é a melhor 👏👏👏👏👏

for quick plates... look into alibaba. they have some very nice chineese clamps.
Chinese parts. Lol. Cheap cheap cheap. Please don't buy these parts. It will only downgrade your press.
Please anyone here who tell me the difference between
Sormz
Sordz
Sorsz
@@abrarhassan1991 SORMZ: 20-1/2" X 29-1?8", SORDZ: 24" X 36" and SORSZ: 26" X 39" aproximately. Z means two color. All where superb presses.
@@rbruce63 thank you very much. Can you share your WhatsApp number for more information about presses
