Hi Tadd, yes it helps big time, i never thought of mounting the tabs to the bottom of the rails thinking i wouldnt have enough clearance. I will have to look into that
@@SlotCarWildman Hey Eric, yeah man hope you can take something from it. I’m no expert on these car interiors. The trucks are a little easier. But you can’t be afraid to get the dremel out and start hackn’ 😂😂
Nice build Tadd
So pretty much build the frame around the interior and if at first you don’t succeed try try again 😎😎🍻
Pretty much. Just make it work. 😂

@@SpareRoomSlotCars I think it’s 1/8” minimum clearance Gene, for Harry’s track. But depending on how thick your brass tabs are you should be good.
You're right TADD, every one is different, I've done several with a full interior and it's always a challenge.
I have done full interiors but only on those chevy trucks and they were easier than this nascar.
@@TADD29 Right, those truck interiors are a little farther forward, I did one also.
good topic nice to hear different options. may help with cobra car.

@@Clearwater124 Not really Greg, just work over a tray style work place. So droped items stay relatively close. 😂
