You are an immigrant who came here legally and to appreciates the American culture in all its richness. I appreciate the Latin elements contributed to it, whether in food, customs or music. I immediately think of the Jewish American composer Aaron Copland and his one movement Symphony El Salon Mexico. I don't think it's any accident that it was beloved by another genius American who was also Jewish, Leonard Bernstein. That education in public schools would be vastly superior to the lie that sex/health education has become. I am a white anglo-american who is Irish by descent and definitely not afraid to get political.
Another acoustic guitar song you may like is Leo Kottke playing Vaseline Machine gun. First find a quality recording of it. Once you find a quality recording of it, listen to it first and count how many guitars are playing and THEN watch the video.

If you get a chance, him doing Rocky Top on the Muppet Show, he plays guitar, banjo, fiddle and mandolin. He was a true entertainer. Great reaction
