Really enjoyed this video...great music too...used to live in the Lake District and grew up farming...now living in Australia, just love your video's, makes me feel closer to home...when we can travel will be coming to visit
Thats great to hear thanks. Yes you will have to come for a look at Mainsgill at some point. Thanks for watching. Also great to hear you are getting the videos all the way over there.
That row of trees was part of the problem, causing a wind trap which didn't help the corn(maize) seen that before over here in Canada. You did manage to salvage the bulk of it though well done. Your lucky you don't have Bears they are a bigger problem than the wind, they walk in sit down and pull the corn in move on and do the same again, they can destroy acres.
I can see what you mean definitely. No bears here but does sound a problem. Hopefully coming over there next year so should see some farms and bears!! Thanks.
They done a great job cutting the maize that was on the ground. Great footage with drone. Can we see some animal videos please. Always like them videos. Thanks
Check out Farming Fixing and Fabricating's channel... You'll see the comparable corn silage here in the US... in fact I think Andy just finished his harvest.
Maize head would bring that off the ground seen it before caused by a bad storm here in Ireland few years back and harvester and maize header got under all of it
Now there's one of a whole crop header picking up down maize. 👍 we tried it but it was leaving to much because it hadn't just fallen one way it was all over.
Love it when you do the drone footage. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Good job done Jack. I like the way you guys operate.

Tough work there jack, how many acres in that field.
Hiya, the field is 34 acres and I think at least a quarter would of been flat!!
Another good vid. thanks.
Think you should teach me how to plough Jack
Loved it 👍
Hi Jack is corn on the cob the same as maize
Russell it may not get as mature in the uk, but yes its the same plant.
