🦋I love the Funky Tea Pot, I’m glad you got it. My mom had a lot of what you buy, and someone cleaned her out when I brought her to live with me. I won’t mention who did it. All I got was her costume jewelry, when she passed. I really didn’t need anything she had. I had the best time taking care of my mom.
Thank you for showing your thrifting expeditions! Thanks to you I wouldn’t have paid as much attention to purses. I just found an amazing candy wrapper purse for $4. The coolest thing about it is that it’s made with the same brand of candy wrappers. It’s pristine and doesn’t appear to have ever been used. It’s beautiful and shiny and I absolutely love it. I’m a thrifter too but it’s a hobby that I just recently started up again. My plan is using my collectibles for something to do for my retirement.
Thanks for sharing and caring! I really wish the people that allow their booths to get soooo full would thin them down or expand the space. It really makes looking at and possibly purchasing their items difficult, impossible and discouraging to even try.
I absolutely agree. So much stuff crammed together....you can’t actually SEE anything....just clutter. (And my issue is I’m almost certain to clip something with my handbag on the way past and knock it off the shelf!) That’s the frustration I have with the ONLY antique and collectables mall near me. PLEASE sellers, rotate your stock and display the merchandise to best advantage.
Two little air plants would look so cute in the maroon planter. Love it!! Again you had a gut feeling about that teapot and..... bingo you were right. You have such a good sense about things. Good for you. You go girl!!!!!
I like the big Santa's very cool🎅 I love the Thistel plate at 10.18 so beautifull🤗 I have a thistle tattoo on my arm. I got the tattoo when my husband passed away 4 years ago. He was from Scotland and the Thistle is Scotlands national flower.
6:41 Girl! I just got my first swung vase the other day on Facebook Marketplace for $15!!! 21.5 inches LE Smith Amberina! She just had it listed as vase and she had flowers in it, so at first glance I wasn't sure and must have been why it was still available after it had been up for a week! Sooo blessed I found it. I was so happy I gave her $20 lol. I'm ecstatic over it. I got it all cleaned up and WOWZERS. I'm drooling over those amber ones though. I want more now lol.
I just love seeing all the awesome stuff you get to see. Plus you are teaching me to look at higher priced items that I normally would have ignored! Thanks for the video's and lessons taught!
Rowe pottery is in Cambridge, Wisconsin. I live about 20 miles away. They do some beautiful work. Began in 1975. That $45.00 price is close to retail for new but I don’t know how old it is so that may matter.
Rowe pottery handmade in Cambridge, WI, a small artisan company. Not terribly expensive and the price on that crock is about new cost. The fleur design is the artist's signature and a way to check the age.
The plastic Rudolph you picked up is from the 70's. There were all different character's & even words. I have one that says "NOEL" ! They last forever unless they are frozen & you drop it on concrete. LOL They were popular because they are very easy to clean. I'm not sure if they have a good resale value, but there are a few people who do collect them.
Yesterday I feel like I hit the *Jocelyn motherload* thrifting at the goodwill. A vintage 60s evening bag, a fitz and Floyd candle holder, a set of Rae Dunn and a spode Christmas platter 😂 thank you for your videos and knowledge 💕👏🏻
I can tell you where you can get a pink ceramic Christmas tree that lights up for $25 it's not old though it's brand new it's like a reproduction try your Walmart
Boo Hiss, I really try not to shop big box stores. I’d much rather have a vintage tree but thanks for responding Jocelyn. I have no clue how you do all you do girl!! Keep up the awesomeness 👏👏👏
Oowh, I really like the colour and depth perception of the camera you used in this video - and I really enjoyed your trip through this most interesting shop also 🙂
Agreed. Always love roosters &/or hens. I also liked the smiling kitty cookie jar & the ceramic kangaroo with the open pouch. Not sure what it was but I really wanted a closer look.
U ought to go to curiosity incorporated and watch his last 2 videos on hoarding house and see all the glassware that that lady had he passes on buying!!!
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics consumer price index, today's prices in 2020 are 571.10% higher than average prices since 1970. ... In other words, $40 in 1970 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $268.44 in 2020, a difference of $228.44 over 50 years. Not so pricey when you look at it that way :D
I had the Santa, Mrs. Santa, Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, Three Wise Men, and all the animals lighted yard decorations in storage. Someone stole them all.
They must have been shopping my Mom’s cupboards as she had that Pyrex refrigerator set (never used much as I remember as Tupperware was in by then) and my Dad used a Thermos like the plaid one for many years. Don’t know how much Rudolph was worth but we had one in mid 70’s & a snowman. I probably would have bid pretty high but it always takes 2 to bring in the $
I love when I'm watching your videos and I see something I just got that bowl that says made in Mexico on the back of it that you said something about maybe King Edwards or something I picked that up at a thrift store my honey hole in my area for $1 last weekend
We used to go there all the time if it was raining in Lake Mills that we couldn’t go out on the lake. There are two guys that used to have the coolest antique store in Lake Mills
07:50 Yes please is the answer to that vase. It was made in Ohio, doubtless; I just don't know by who. Old for certain. 10:15 too bad Eastlake is so out right now; the wood on those is gorgeous.
How can you tell if the ceramic trees are truly vintage or a reproduction? I see they sell them at walmart now... I'm super jealous of those amber vases for $16 each!

You were my first vintage reseller sub of dozens and I must say you are the master class! 🦜

Are you in her old things thrifters and pickers Facebook group?
I'd love to see a picture there of your purse!
My mom used to make me little purses with him wrappers 😊
I just saw one at the antique Mall that I belong to and I believe it was $4 but if you look them up on eBay they do not have a large resale value

I just LOVE your channel! Everyday is not complete until I watch thr Crazy Lamp Lady!
I agree!
Me too!
Thanks for sharing and caring! I really wish the people that allow their booths to get soooo full would thin them down or expand the space. It really makes looking at and possibly purchasing their items difficult, impossible and discouraging to even try.
And as a “larger” person I won’t fit. Wonder if they realize how much they lose in sales?
@@Jen39x or if you rely on a walker or cane like I do.I am always afraid I am going to break something.

Can't beat starting the day with you and a good cup of coffee.
I second that emotion!! 😋
Same! Lol
I do Dunkin Donuts and her videos. Can't beat it.
Agreed!
I’m doing the very same thing! I loved that jack-in-the pulpit she passed up!
Two little air plants would look so cute in the maroon planter. Love it!!
Again you had a gut feeling about that teapot and..... bingo you were right. You have such a good sense about things. Good for you. You go girl!!!!!
That silver and cream colored ceramic cream and sugar were so elegant!
I like the big Santa's very cool🎅

Besides succulents you can also do air plants.
Succulents actually need quiet a bit of room.air plants are great for small spots.
I love the thistle ceramic plate you bought. It was really nice!
People who travel North and East should familiarize themselves with I 81. It is such a good road to travel.
Loved everything you bought. Everything!!

That’s fantastic!!
@@oscargoldfield1593 lol yep. I've been obsessed, but I could not afford them nor had I found any in the wild lol.
Rudolph could be before '70, because the larger version that I have was displayed by my Mom before I left home in 60s.
TFS CLL.
I just love seeing all the awesome stuff you get to see. Plus you are teaching me to look at higher priced items that I normally would have ignored! Thanks for the video's and lessons taught!
11:16 - I have one of these that used to belong to my mom, and, after years of use with no issue, his front leg busted off! Curse you, 2020!!!
Rudolph is from the 70's and I remember them as classroom decorations.
I have one of those plastic decorations -Santa in a sleigh- that I bought for my classroom in the early 80s 😂.
We had one, too. It was the decoration for the front door.
We sold them as a fundraiser for our Girl Scout troup in the 70's.

OMG the Christmas booth with the big snowman and the forest of ceramic trees got my heart going pitty-pat.
Rowe Pottery in Cambridge WI is still in business. It was very popular in the 70's and 80's when country decor was the in thing.
The weird plastic textured Rudolph was a staple in the 70s. People prolly trading on nostalgia.
We have Rudolph, the Christmas tree, Wille Coyote and Road Runner!!!
I saw in one of your video brought a little lady with you. It's nice because she observed what you do and she also get to learn from you. Good start!
You are a hard worker.
Seemed like a long day for you.
Thanks for the film it was great!
Enjoy the Family!!!

The rooster stained glass lamppp 🤤🤤🤤🤤

I LOVE the RH purple swan
I loved that trashtasic star light. I loved the colors. So cool for a night light.
I was yelling at the screen for you to stop at the rooster before you got to the yo-yos 😅 funny what catches our eye

Cross border colab... well when Canada let’s us back in again 😂😂🤣
Alex said he’d put in an offer on the contents of the house and was waiting for a response
Dang Girl~you work constant and overtime!!🙏🏻💖
I remember the deer. I grew up in the 70's but they could easily be 1960's.
I can't get over the prices of the ceramic trees. My mother used to make them, and sold the biggest for forty dollars, even the musical ones. 🙄
My mom made them too back in the 70's.😍

Air ferns In those pots! How cute!! (And no watering). Don’t you get Dealer discount? On the west coast thats a “thing”. When i used to do that
When I was a kid...Dunkin was the ONLY one there WAS!🤦🏼♀️

Rowe pottery was more expensive and more popular than BBP.
Girl...I am so envious of how far you can reach and balance...benefit of youth! (Oh, and long limbs...🥰🥰)
Yes... All these UA-cam videographers have perfected art of the "one hand grab." A scary thought for us amateurs.

Rowe pottery is in Cambridge Wisc and very cool and still in production at least the last time I was there
hi , have you considered air plants ? as easy as succulents x
Wow I got to your channel by mistake glad I did 💘 it thanks
I think the Rudolph is a "sentimental" nostalgic piece....it's time period
You bypassed those two little Siamese cats in that booth with all the blow molds.
I love the statue with the buckets
Wish you had bought that ship bottle stopper. I need one for a bottle with a ship on it. Bummer!
I really like it when you do the voiceover I don't know why
The Asian pottery guy with the pots- I was thinking you could put those incense cones in them too. But I could totally see an air plant in them too!
Or cigarettes! Real vintage that way. Did they have air plants in the 40s / 50s??
That white cat is awesome.
Air plants would be great in that!
💗💗💗 I Love that Stove!
The teapot was a great buy
That teapot is fantastic!!!
Ok you said it! I think now you’re gonna have to show us how you walk the dog!!!!!!Just sayin.😀
The salt and pepper were Popeye and Olive Oyle
Mexican platter at the end....was a yes! sigh.....can't grab it all.... ^D
I was so excited I just got the same one I only paid a dollar for mine though and excellent condition
Do you and Jeffrey go to the same dermatologist /facialist? You both have such gorgeous skin!
