Thank you so much for uploading this! Dohnányi is my all time favorite composer/pianist ever! Could you possible upload his recording of Beethoven's Sonata no. 30? I know the first movement is already on UA-cam, but I really want to hear the rest of that sonata played by him.

d'Albert's recording is also very good. The artistry of Dohnányi stems in part from that of d'Albert. Liszt considered d'Albert the best Beethoven interpreter. And d'Albert's fingerings of the Beethoven Sonatas are the closest to my own. Today, so-called Urtext editions perpetrate some of the most outrageous fingerings in history which have nothing to do with the music or with good pianism. The worst fingerings in history are those of the HENLE URTEXT editions edited by Hans-Martin Theopold.
